Tickletober day 1: Anticipation
Percy was screwed. So very screwed.
He sprinted through the small apartment from the monster after him.
Almost any monster he could face head on, but one he couldn’t.
Annoyed Annabeth.
It all started when he started messing around with his girlfriend to get her attention. He’d been tugging at her ponytail, stealing her pencil and holding it out of her reach, and just a few seconds ago, tasering her in the sides and bolting when he realized his grave, grave error. He should’ve known better than to try and tickle fight Annabeth. He never won.
Percy finally got into the bedroom and slammed the door moments before Annabeth caught up to him. He knew he had only a few seconds to hide before she got him, so he dove under his bed, the only available hiding spot.
The door swung open and Percy’s heart sky rocketed. He clapped both hands over his mouth, muffling his heavy breathing as he listened to Annabeth stalk around the room.
“Seaweed Brain, where are you?”
Annabeth was absolutely teasing Percy with anticipation. He couldn’t stand it.
“Come out, come out wherever you are. You can’t hide forever. Just wait until I get my hands on you, Percy. I’m gonna get you so bad.”
Gods Above, why was Annabeth so good at teasing him?! Percy could feel his face burning and it took everything not to screech.
Suddenly, the room fell silent. Had Annabeth given up? Or was she simply lying in wait.
Percy let his guard down slightly and immediately regretted it when he felt two, nimble fingers tracing the sole of his socked foot and he stifled a yelp of giggles.
“I found you, Seaweed Brain.”
Percy screeched as Annabeth grabbed his ankle and yanked him out from under the bed.
Yup, he was screwed. But he wouldn’t have it any other way.
First day of tickletober!! Percabeth is very near and dear to my heart so what better way to kick off the month than with the first couple I ever shipped! <3 Thanks for reading!!
