I wish I could just venture out into the woods alone,

lay down among the moss and the ferns,

remain hidden and silent in the deep green undergrowth.

I would listen to the wind whisper through the dense forest trees,

hear the babble of the water running down a nearby stream,

feel the cool, damp earth surround my body,

and let myself be consumed.
