So excited to have the letter bending artist (among other things) Cyril Vouilloz, aka @RYLSEE taking over the Goodtype feed the next 2 days as our Guest Curator of the week! • Cyril is a visual artist originally from Geneva Switzerland and currently living in Berlin where he is a resident artist at @Urban_Spree, an art & music venue in the heart of the city. Aside from being left-handed and too shy to rap, Cyril is also the co-founder of MYOS workshops, MANTANGA empanadas restaurant & @SNEEERclothing. • With a background in typography, design and mural painting, he is obsessed with words and hand-drawn type compositions. His art has been featured and exhibited in U.S.A, Switzerland, France, Berlin, London, Brussels , Barcelona, Tel-Aviv, Vancouver, Santiago and São Paulo. He's also a featured artist in our latest book, "Goodtype: The Art of Lettering." • Inspired by moments of everyday life, the city, and signage, he is interested in expressing mundane situations and places in a satirical way. • @RYLSEE also recently had his first monography book published by @Moleskine called: HOW TO PLAY WITH LETTERS.
