This is divided into two parts: Alive!Petra & Isabel and Both Dead As Our Hearts!Isabel & Petra.

Part 1: Alive!Petra and Alive!Isabel Canon AU
Petra was already a Scout when Levi, Isabel and Furlan joined. She was the one who toured Isabel and Furlan around the HQ while Levi followed behind the three of them with a knife secretly in hand in case Petra tries something.
Isabel tells Levi to drop the knife. (Yes, within Petra’s earshot)
They’d stay up all night talking about life in the Underground and in the surface.
They’d arm wrestle to settle arguments! 💪
Isabel’s so excited about what life is like above ground that she drags Petra out of HQ and to all the must-see spots in the city every chance they get. Of course, Petra’s more than happy to accompany her.
Isabel tries to hook Petra up with either Furlan or Levi. She doesn’t really care who Petra will end up with. She just wants to take every opportunity to embarrass the two men.
The two of them gave a name to ALL the Survey Corps horses. Well, it was Isabel’s idea and Petra eventually went along with it because she finds the idea cute.
One of the new recruits asked Isabel out and Petra helps her prep for her first date!!! :3
She’d lend Isabel all her makeup and dresses!
Wrong move though because the day after Isabel’s date, the girl’s basically claiming her clothing one by one.
In my mind, Isabel’s around 15 years old (although in the wiki page, she’s 18? Whatever she looks younger than Eren in the main timeline so she’s 15 here)
Petra’s 18 during the time Isabel joined
Petra’s the one pushed with the responsibility to give Isabel “the talk” because both Furlan and Levi are cowards
They’d definitely bond over the redhead thing. (Like using it as a basis for which clothing or makeup look might look best)
Petra teaches her to read and write. The younger girl knows the basics but not as much for someone who’s already 15.
Petra gives Furlan and Levi tea but she always gives Isabel hot milk
One time, both girls ended back down in the Underground (pretty sure it’s because Isabel needed to settle a score with someone and Petra tried stopping her) and Levi had to save both their asses.
Petra always gives Isabel big sister advice because of course she would
They’d have horse races!! Isabel always wins
Then a few squad leaders will scold them and tell them that the SC horses aren’t meant for racing!
Petra’s on a different squad but on missions outside the wall, she tries to keep an eye out for Isabel as much as the formation and the situation allows her.
Both girls would argue over who’s getting taller faster
Sadly, it’s almost the end of the road for Petra so Isabel wins this one
Isabel tells Petra it’s alright because now there’s a girl who’ll look perfect with her big bro Levi
Isabel teaches Petra how to pick locks (telling her it’s an important life skill to have) and they tried it once in one of the offices in the HQ
It ends up being a Squad Leader’s office tho
....Levi takes the fall for the both of them (willingly. u know how soft he is on the inside for his best girls)
Part 2: Dead!Petra and Dead!Isabel Canon AU
They’d constantly have bets on what Levi will do next
Isabel: “Ohhh betting you ten coins that he’ll stab the monkey’s dick first when he finally gets the chance to chop him up!”
Petra: “I didn’t need to know that but ok”
It always eventually ends in a tie
Commander Erwin’s the one who keeps the scorecard on Petra and Isabel’s bets. idk why it just came to my mind
Isabel always comforts Petra whenever the older girl cries over what happens to Levi (ex: Zeke and Kenny)
Isabel’s always surprised at how Petra’s actually willing to kill for her captain (she seems so kind and sweet)
They share stories on when they were in Levi’s squad/gang and compare his leadership style
Sometimes, the other veterans are concerned when Isabel and Petra get together. It’s bound to be chaos and you wouldn’t expect it because they both seem cute and innocent.
Isabel’s the wild child tho and Petra just gets dragged in.
Petra would always ask Isabel about Levi’s life in the underground.
Isabel thinks it’s cute and she tells Petra that she’s going to push Levi and Petra to get married once Levi dies and joins them.
Basically for both AUs: I really think that they’d share the same brain cell sometimes. Petra’s just slightly mature.

"Oi Izzy come here!" Levi called to his little 5 year old daughter, watching as she ran around on the warm sand.
The small girl smiled at her dad and then hurried over to him, sitting down infront of him so he could practically drown her in sun lotion. "Be careful and don't stay out in the sun too long - don't touch anything weird either, got it?"
"Of course dad." She smiled at him and he felt his heart squeeze, she had Petra's smile one hundred percent.
"Mom! Can you come help me with this?" Isabel looked towards the sandcastle she had been building.
"Of course." Petra got up from under the sun umbrella, leaving Levi with the bags while she went to help their daughter.
"Such a beautiful castle." The red head grinned, ruffling Isabel's hair before sitting in the sand to help her finish off the details.
Levi only watched with an amused and soft expression, fuck, he loved them both so much.
Levi pushed his sunglasses up to rest on his head as he looked at his wife, Petra was wearing a stunning blue bikini with a cover up, it was all accompanied by a straw hat with some red fabric laced around it and finished off with a bow. Levi simply wore a pair of dark swimming shorts that cut off just above his knees. As for Isabel, she'd insisted on getting one of the pink swimming costume with a little skirt around the middle, Levi thought they had some strange fashion in Marley, though who was he to say no to her.
Petra smiled as she worked on finding some seashells to give to Isabel as some decoration for the sand castles. "Here." She smiled, putting them in her small hands.
Isabel smiled widely and thanked her mom before immediately getting to work.

"Daddy...come in the waterrr" Isabel attempted to drag her dad over towards the cold water that Petra was all ready stood in, grinning at how cool it felt compared to the heat that surrounded them. Levi picked her up when they got near the water, he ran into the water as she squealed and giggled, the waves splashing them both.
He held her up, his hands under her arms before he brought her back to his chest in the water as she continued to giggle. "Little brat.."
Isabel smiled when Petra kissed her cheek and then Levi's.
"How about we practise some more swimming hm? You've been doing really well so far! I think maybe if you tried to swim to us." Petra explained, stepping back a little in the water, while giving Levi a reassuring look that she would be okay when he let go.
Isabel nodded eagerly and kicked her small legs when Levi let go, she quickly swam into Petra's arms, letting the red head put her arms around her. "That's perfect! You've gotten so good at swimming huh?"
Levi patted Isabel's dark hair. "Well done." He said, earning another soft smile.
"Can you swim back to dad now?" Petra asked, still holding Isabel close.
"Mmh!" She wiggled out of Petra's arms and swam to Levi, leaning up and wrapping her little arms around his neck as best as she could.
He kissed her head and held onto her with his one arm, wrapping his other around Petra.
"I always told you everything would work out in the end.." the redhead gave him a knowing smile, admiring his features before she looked out to the ocean.
"It's perfect." He said, not talking about the sea, but talking about his little family, Levi was grateful for everything, all the sacrifices and hard work of the scouts had gotten them here.
Thank you for letting Levi knows about Petra’s feeling that never convey. I know you that you pushed Petra to going marry as soon before she died (based on game AOT Tactics, A Letter Home) because you always love your daughter and tested him reacted to Petra’s letter about devoted herself, her entire life for her captain.
