Liam is such a great parallel to S1!Shannon though. And the fact that he has a parallel plot to someone who is a main character as a minor character is greatness in and of itself.

Though he's it with a twist. She did it to prove she wasn't crazy. He doesn't really care that Jimi and Sam are teasing him. Sure, he tells them to stop, but it's not what it's about. It's all about honoring his ancestors for him.

And there's the fact that him finding out could cause actual danger to the way things are, whereas Shannon protects them. 

Like it's a parallel but it's not the same and it's so great and continuity on previously mentioned minor character plots is a++.
