I’m lucky enough to have mostly good experience with hostels. When I was younger, hostels was the place that educates me about different cultures and lives. I never kept in touch with any of the people that I briefly met, but I kept the memories of the moments of true connections.
P.S. I’m not writing this to make hostels perfect places, do stay vigilant when you are traveling alone and keep your belongings safe ;)
I’ve never heard or said “sorry” so many times in my life as in the years I spent in the UK. From commenting on the weather to sitting beside someone in the tube, it seems to be an indispensable part of everyday life.
