here’s my newest updated communication card phrase list if anyone wants to make some and doesn’t know what to phrases to use

affirmations for the printing / cutting / arranging / laminating parts of making low tech aac and visual supports , etc:

- i can cut in straight lines

- these scissors aren’t giving me blisters

- the printer is more afraid of me than i am of it

- i won’t have to resort to packing tape

- i will run out of both sides of velcro strips at the same time

- uhh

- my ass is fat and i am sexy as hell

Forgot update cool that I ended up while ago getting official PECS books in BOTH small and large sizes! Yippee!!!

Note: I I use PECS book as good communication book backup/alternitive to my high tech AAC, not as PECS official learning system wich is not very good thing ive ben told!

I mosty use Small one thogh (you can tell by bag of hundred plus extra symbols cards I have next to it in picture and that it have a prety rainbow stars strap on it to carry it!) but both are prety purple and I got the official PECS rainbow inserts for both but diffrence is I got two sets for small book and one set for big but on big book we put Velcro on both sides the inserts! And self/staff make cards for Small book but big book it use cards from PECS official PECS 151 cards set!

I might end up selling Large PECS book sometime sinse I not use so much but idk if anyone willing to pay around 60 dollars (50 for EVEYTHING (all pages, accessories and cards and stuff) plus like 10 shipping) that is just about 1/3 cost I pay for it all when boght it my friend help me calculate.

New LCD writing tablet for AAC light tech!!

ID: six gray 3D printed tactile communication symbols on a wooden table. The first says stop with a stop sign, the second says go with an arrow in a circle, the third says eat with a fish on a plate, the fourth says drink with a drinking class, the fifth says more with an apple and an arrow pointing from it to three more apples, and the sixth says all done with a finish line flag. End ID.

here are the 3D printed tags. now i sand down some edges and spray them with a primer. then i will spray them with white spray paint and wait 24 hours. then i will paint them different colors. then i will paint the letters and symbols white. then i will spray them with a sealant :)

my first try at a light tech AAC booklet !

was going to make it when had the ability to laminate , get perfect . but decided to go for it and upgrade later when I can .

it caused a lot of problems for me with the printing , but I am proud of it ! had to get rid of 2 pages ( phrase board and medical information ) because ran out of ink and tried double sided printing at first ( didn't work ) . frustrating but oh well .

don’t really know what to call this since you could cut it out to be communication cards but i guess just a Communication board? you can print and laminate it if you want a low tech aac option. made it in cboard aac.
