Art direction for animation. My job is to make sure the audience gets the message through the color, lighting, atmosphere and everything that can evoke a feeling visually. Once I get the script, I translate the words, to the screen. In that way inspiring the story and the universe.
Here are some lighting keys I forgot to put up when these episodes of Miles aired; I love tiny subjects! These are from “Callistos on Ice,” “Chasing the Stormchaser,” and “Blackout on Bloppsburgh,” respectively.
Back in 2013, I was enough lucky to join the art departement team of Secret Life of Pets. It was a pleasure to work with amazing art director Colin Stimpson. I started with Color Set and Props then also had the opportunity to make my very first key lights on this film. It was 2 years and half of production and it was great to see the progression of the film from the beginning to the end, the background and the sequences I painted taking life on 3D. Here's my Key Lights work :
