Dean figured that, of all things, he probably shouldn’t have been terribly surprised. But, he was.

And so, he did what anyone would do when they were totally confused by something that had happened. He went and tracked down Seamus who, at that moment, was on the other side of the party.

Still, in retrospect, there were probably more subtle ways to handle the whole situation than by proclaiming “Justin just kissed me!” and then looking at Seamus expectantly.

But, Dean and Seamus had never been known for their subtlety.

Well, it wasn’t a disaster. Far from the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Might have been better with more cheese, and shredded instead of sliced. But I am not hungry anymore. For now.

No one likes an Irish Lord. A redhead is at best unfortunate and at worst socially doomed. Combine the two and you are left with a hopeless case. Well not entirely hopeless; a good fortune matched with a proper sporting attitude might be able to save such a man from an ignoble social damn nation. Seamus Finnigan is not so lucky. Besides the impoverished Irish title and brassy ginger of his hair, he has a freakish bent for chemical experimentation. No worthy establishment will rent him rooms after he has twice been kicked out for causing explosions with his experiments. Thus is social standing is further tarnished by living in a less than fashionable district where such explosions are less commented upon. Alas, it is doubtful that any marriage-minded mama would ever single him out for her daughter. A lot that is not much cared about by Mr. Finnigan, who seems more than content with the friends he has.
