I need more miserably depressed trans Regulus representation because in every fic I read where he’s trans it’s always a side thing, which is sometimes very fun and I like that the main thing about isn’t a part that could be small of him, but I want him to stare at himself in the mirror and think about how much different and better life would be if he was born a boy, how he would be taller, how his features would be sharper, how his chest would be flat, how he would be happy, how he wouldn’t hate himself, how he would let people in more, how he wouldn’t have to hide from himself and everyone, how simple tasks such as showering or going to the bathroom or changing would be so much easier, and so so much more. Mmmm have we pondered Jean as the only alpha in an all omega household? Laila taking up a position as the head omega, acting as their first line of defense and becoming so hard to crack because she’s had to. Being so hard on Jean at first because she’s let an alpha into her house, and she refuses to let him bully her (or any of the others( into submission in any way shape or form. Cat teaching him how to cook because she won’t stand for an alpha who doesn’t help omegas out in the kitchen. Jeremy wondering if Jean will have an issue with them all, or the fact that the Trojans are an omega led team.

And then jean puts their leftovers away and cleans the kitchen that first night, and carries their bags when they go to the beach, and just constantly helps out and steps in to defend them more than once. And they realize he’s not like any other Alpha they’ve ever known. That he really does love caretaking, that he likes protecting, and that he really doesn’t like violence, despite what the public says about him, and despite what he’s been taught.

And it’s so odd, in general, but mostly to Jeremy, who has only ever been with alphas who are cruel and mean and dismissive. Who falls head over heels slowly, slowly for an alpha he knows will love him like he’s never known, like he’s the most precious thing on this planet, even if he’s not quite sure he’d deserve it
