This crossover has been done to death but I wanted to try making my own teams for the senshi. :D A lot of people include legendaries and mythical (which makes sense since they are magical space girls after all!) but I wanted to try giving them teams that would fit their civilian forms as well. As cool as it would be, I think people would raise some eyebrows if someone like Usagi, for example, showed up to school on a Cresselia lol.
This is set 2 of 3. Notes under the cut.
Haruka probably has the most chaotic team of all the senshi. Lots of nods to the Space Sword, her love for cars, her desire for speed and freedom, and her brute strength in battle.
Michiru has a full team of water types. I think some people might not agree with the addition of Primarina but I think it pairs nicely with her love for music.
Setsuna and Hotaru were the toughest to make teams for because of how similar their powers are in the series. But ultimately, Setsuna was given a team with mostly psychic types while Hotaru has mostly ghost and dark. Hotaru almost had a Hydreigon put on her team but I eventually swapped it out for Glimmora, a Pokemon where when all its petals open up, it looks very similar to the Taioron Crystal.

Ami: most of her team has a water/ice mix with an Alakazam to fit her studious nature. Because Ami and Michiru share similar elements, I tried to pick water types that either came with an ice typing (Lapras and Dewgong) or would be more commonly found above water (Azumarill and Swanna). Glaceon is the only pure ice type on this team and I like to think it was one of her earliest team members. Other Pokemon I considered for Ami's team were Metagross and Alolan Ninetales.
Rei: Honchkrow and Corviknight are the closest Pokemon we have currently to represent crows. Ninetales, Flareon, and Rapidash for her fire element. And lastly, we have Sensu Style Oricorio to go with her role as a Shinto priestess and her ties to traditional Japanese culture. Other Pokemon I considered for Rei's team were Arcanine, Froslass, and Decidueye (both Alolan and Hisuian).
Makoto: No surprises, her team mostly consists of grass and electric types! Raichu and Electivire were pretty obvious choices to start things off. Arboliva, Appletun, and Alcremie are nice nods for her love for cooking. I know they're not oak leaves, but the way Arboliva's leaves are shaped reminds me of the oak crown she uses to perform Jupiter Oak Evolution. As a last-minute edition, I added Huisian Lilligant to her team which also has fighting as its secondary typing; a type I wish I could have added more to her team! Other Pokemon I considered for Makoto's team were Luxray, Jolteon, and Breloom.
Minako: I decided to go with a lot of Pokemon that are traditionally known for being associated with models and singers, so I included Tsareena, Lopunny, and Delcatty for this team. Lopunny also serves as an extra nod to her being Usagi/Serenity's decoy. Finally, Alomomola and Florges I felt were fitting for her 'love and beauty' aesthetic. Other Pokemon I considered for Minako's team were Wigglytuff, Swanna, Nidoqueen, Cloyster, and Luvdisc.

Usagi has the standard fairy-type team with a few normal types squeezed in. Many are known to have healing powers, come from the moon, or are fiercely loyal to the ones they love. All very important Usagi traits!
This may be a controversial take, but I actually think Lunatone doesn't fit her at all? Yeah, it's literally a Pokemon based on the moon, and it fits her senshi form well. But as Usagi Tsukino? I don't really think so. I think she'd prefer the cutesy types or the 'pretty in pink' kind of Pokemon. If anything I think Lunatone fits Mamoru better with his ties to the Earth.
Speaking of Mamoru, we have Roserade and Meowscarada for his role as Tuxedo Mask, Gallade as a counterpart to Usagi's Gardevoir, Musharna for his prophetic dreams, and Solrock and Lunatone for to represent the sun and moon; two of the most important celestial bodies for the Earth.
Chibiusa is very much a beginner so she still has a lot of first-form Pokemon. She mostly has a lot of the same Pokemon as Usagi but she has a few Pokemon that are unique to her. Other Pokemon I considered for Chibiusa's team were Espurr, Igglybuff, Marill, and Nidoran (Female).

↳ Eduard Tamm (Estonia)
Credits: (x), (x), (x), (x)
Eduard was born and raised in the big city but for generations his family have been living on the outskirts as farmers. Though he had been competing in tournaments since he was 10, it was only after graduating high school he began to take it seriously when he started traveling to partake in tournaments outside of the Est-Fin-Swe regional bubble. Eduard moved up the ranks quickly and put his relatively unknown country on the map. The countless hours of training he puts in, in addition to time he spends studying his opponents before each match, make him a tough trainer to beat. He currently ranks as the top trainer in Estonia and was once offered a position at the Estonian Elite Four but turned it down. Though he’s open to training all kinds of Pokemon, Psychic and Ghost-types remain his favourite due to the wide variety of attacks they can learn. He’s currently on the lookout for the prized Pokemon, Porygon. He has a habit of taking in stray Pokemon and keeping them as pets.

↳ Feliks Łukasiewicz (Poland)

Feliks was once a powerhouse trainer in Europe but his recent laid-back approach to battling and training has him sliding down in the ranks. To the surprise of many though, he keeps making comeback after comeback—making him currently the most unpredictable trainer out on the competitive scene. His friends are not sure what changed in him. Feliks used to take battling seriously and would train night and day. Now he can’t be bothered to train for more than an hour. In reality, Feliks still loves the sport but believes he’s reached a point where he doesn’t need to keep up with the crowd anymore. He feels satisfied at the level where he is now, but to a certain degree, it is partially due to feeling burnt out and homesickness. Feliks however has been curious about Pokemon Contests lately and wonders if this is his true calling.

↳ Tolys Laurinatis (Lithuania)
Credits: (x), (x), (x), (x), (x)
Tolys comes from a family of Pokemon breeders. He’s eager to follow in their footsteps and dreams of taking over the family's daycare facility. Many of the Pokemon on his team came from their daycare and were often rejects from trainers who didn't want the eggs. He didn't have much interest in battling growing up—but his parents soon realized their son's potential and enrolled him in various junior tournaments where he proved to be a fierce opponent. He then began participating in competitions throughout the rest of Europe soon after. He’s grown up with a love for Grass-types and uses a mix of attack and defense in his battles. Despite his low ranking in the global standings, his name is well recognized by his fellow trainers and is highly respected. Rumors are circulating back home that he is the potential successor to the Grass-type Gym in Alytus but Tolys is not interested.

↳ Raivis Garančs (Latvia)
Credits: (x), (x), (x), (x), (x)
Raivis is a trainer who struggles with standing out of the crowd. Although he’s been battling for almost as long as his peers, his frequent losses made it difficult for him to climb the ladder. But Raivis believes his time to shine is now. His battle style appears to focus more on defence (perhaps a bit too much) and doesn’t train as much as he probably should. He tends to get himself into strange situations, leaving his Ampharos to fix the problem. Therefore, it’s always keeping a watchful eye on its trainer. He does not have a type specialty but frequently uses Bug-types because of how easy it is to raise them.
For a long time, I've been wanting to redo my old Poketalia sets from several years back so I've been using my vacation to practice with making photo sets. I'm still learning but I think these turned out okay! The rest of the Baltics are finished and will be uploaded soon while the Nordic sets will be coming later in the week.
