My PEOPLE......... Let us remind ourselves once again on our plans towards the Birhday ROAD WALK tagged " "WALK WITH DADDYSHOWKEY".. Yes, we are so READY and am so glad to let you ALL know that EVERYTHING is in right, good order, just as already communicated earlier with the date intact. We urge all interested PARTICIPANTS in the Road WALK to make themselves available at the NATIONAL STADIUM, Surulere, by 6:30am, on Sunday, where we would all assemble and take off by 7:30am. Please, its very important for participants to ensure their health, strength and capability are in good check, and fit for the Road Walk. Perhaps, its also crucial to reiterate the objective of the WALK which is for the purpose of our foundation, #LionClanFoundation, aimed at reaching out to our PEOPLE, impacting on lives, changing stories and putting smiles back on their faces. LION CLAN FOUNDATION is a revolution bore out of empathy and compassion for an average Nigerian community inhabitants. One of its major objectives is EMPOWERMENT, which we have already strategically figured out necessary measures in reaching out to core communities and meeting their NEEDS. As statistics have it that the poverty rate in the country is so high, so did we decide to use such Foundation positively by lending support to communities within LAGOS State and by extension across the Nation. But, like the adage says “Charity begins at home” thus, we shall commence from our own root in AJEGUNLE, empowering both the old and young with every tool available at our disposal, aiming to change lives and help alleviate sufferings as we embark on the longer journey. The foundation is under the auspices of a renowned artiste in the country (DaddyShowkey) who has contributed immensely to Nigeria’s entertainment as a pioneer artiste with track records of achievements in his archives. It is with such mission to give back to the community (Ajegunle) that produced him and also in his intention to take it farther to other communities across the State, Nation that brought the idea. Meanwhile, it’s important to know that this is the introductory aspect of the foundation as the official launching shall be communicated here as soon as possible. This is to formally inform you ALL, Fans, friends, families and great people across the Globe, as we shall be officially launching #LionClanFoundation on my forthcoming birthday on Sunday, 04, August, 2019. I have also decided to herald the day with a Road WALK exercise, tagged “ WALK With DaddyShowkey” with aim to recreate and *A Sensitisation on the importance of Fittness* by regularly working out and ensuring we all maintain good HEALTH. Anyone interested in the Road WALK could signify by joining at the National stadium Surulere locations at 6:00 am or 6:30 am , as we shall be streaming live on Instagram from National Stadium to Ajegunle.
