Alice going on a quest to find Lisa some precious water.
Alice’s Bong Quest
Alice was starting to get very concerned on Lisa’s behalf.Although Max had promised to return shortly to let her out of the cage, the restless girl had gone and disappeared days ago, and Alice hadn’t seen her since. That wasn’t a terrible problem as far as Alice was concerned, but the plant in the corner was clearly getting very lonely without her, not to mention far too dry.
Luckily, Max had forgotten to latch Alice’s cage, so when she finally decided to go check on her temperate companion, she only had to push open the door. From down on the floor, she had had a pretty good angle on a bottle of water Max kept on the window sill behind Lisa. However, the sill was a little too tall for Alice to access.
The first step, then, would be to get onto the computer desk. From there, she could take a step on one of the window sills, ascend to the book case and, with an angled leap, drop the water bottle to the floor.
Everything went as planned until Alice was on top of the book case and found herself staring down at the water bottle on the lower ledge. With such a narrow ledge and no way to simply step on it, Alice would almost certainly collide with the bottle, knocking it over. The cap was off which, while beneficial to Alice’s overall mission, threatened to drain the last dregs of water from the bottle as it tumbled to the ground. Furthermore, the window was propped open, and both Alice and the bottle might fall through to their deaths if the jump was mismanaged.
The risk was too great. Alice would have to look elsewhere.
Alice cast her eyes out the window, hoping to see students who might assist her walking in the courtyard. She saw none, but rather saw something peculiar in the distance, looming above the forest on the other side of the courtyard. A vast column of water swirled in the distance, and although it was not raining here at the school, Alice recognized that most of the area stood under massive storm clouds.
That is certainly too much water … but maybe I could prop open the window and catch Lisa in the spray?
No, no, Alice reminded herself. She did not possess the dexterity to close the window in the event that Lisa (and the room) became flooded. She wanted to restore Lisa, not kill her, and it was so easy to drown plants like these.
Alice descended to the floor, setting her sights instead on the door out of the room. When she stood before it, she sat on her haunches and raised a paw against it. She recognized that it was a rather mighty obstacle, but …Well, Max’s room had clearly been damaged before Alice ever arrived. A little more shouldn’t be too great of a problem.
The door slammed open with enough force, and Alice quickly bound out of the room to see if there were any students in the hallway who might have noticed the disturbance. She saw none, however, and scouted the hallway for an open door.
At the other end of the hallway, she finally found one. 217. She had never been inside this one before, but something about it smelled … familiar. She entered quickly, not wanting to be spotted by any students who might return her to her cage before she located her prize.
On the downside of things, Alice did not locate a water bottle inside the room.On the upside, however, she did find a glass tube with water in it underneath the bed, and managed to roll it out onto the floor with her paw. The smell from it was rank, but she figured Lisa would not mind so long as she could get the water.
Now to roll it back without spilling all the water … hmm.
[Okay so I just have to end there, this was fun but I’m exhausted. Let’s skip to the end]
Lisa slowly tilted the bong over the edge of the book case until water poured over Lisa’s leaves. How did she get on top of the book case with a bong? How does it still have water? I don’t know, but it’s an amusing graphic.
Drink, you slime.
And Lisa did.
