Koi: the city of beginnings

Pairing Project seems corny at its best. The whole idea is to figure out how one person is drawn to another be it in romance or friendship. Yet, those who take up the offer are given their own place in the city, another beginning. Participants are given free housing, food, and water. They are pulled into a flourishing city and allowed, even, to roll the dice again if they deem their partner horrid to be around. What is there to lose when there is everything to gain?
