It was almost like something out of a dream- they were in a park, some other city, it was so long ago, Lynne hardly even remembered where. The memory had become muddled with other thoughts, dreams or ideas, but there was still a few clear details. Sparsely planted trees, under a cloudy sky. The threatening rain may of been why the park was so empty, only a few people with their dogs. Lynne was dragging her mother around the trees, treasure map clutched in one hand. It was a game set up, they were following a set of clues- Kat was in on it, of course, but she hadn’t let on to Lynne this.
They’d even gotten a hint from a girl playing her guitar, seated on the steps of a fountain, before she went back to singing. Through the trees she weaved, looking at street signs, until she reached a statue of a horse, and at it’s base was-
