Bonjour mes amies! We made landfall in New Caledonia on Monday after a 6 day passage from Brisbane. It's a beautiful country and it was a delight to our eyes to sight the lush green hills of this glorious land! . We have spent our first few days checking in, sourcing parts and internet - which we can purchase for a 1hr or for a 24hr period. . Unfortunately Sarean suffered damage to her furler on passage, of which we are having challenges trying to source parts. At this stage the furler is coming off next week and we hope new parts will arrive toute suite ;) . Two years ago today we married on a distant beach in the company of some of our dearest friends. . I nearly fell into the sea boarding the tender that I then drove to shore in my wedding dress, as my honey was hiding behind some bushes putting his wedding garb on - hoping no-one would spot him! . It was a crazy, beautiful day full of love, with our friends coming together to decorate our cyclone ravaged venue and fill it with laughter and merriment. . Two years on and the challenges have kept coming, but we wouldn't have it any other way. . We've grown closer and our bond is stronger. We've learn't so much about ourselves and each other - and both agree that we're so glad we've got each others backs - and fronts, and sides! . This year see's us crossing oceans and venturing once again into the unknown, with a deeper appreciation of all that we have - and all that we are given. . Cheers to you My Honey, My Love. Count down to departure to New Cal - and it's getting crazy on board! . McD is in the thick of it running wiring for the install of our NEW LITHIUM BATTERIES from @offroadlivingaustralia and I am in the final throws of ordering in our dry stores. Just have to find a delivery address for 60kg's of goodies in Brisbane! . We've invested in new cameras and mics to replace those lost to Neptune this past year, and purchased most of our trade items. .
