so the basic setup is that logus takes staircases Real Fast like skipping every other step AT LEAST go go go go go and osk of course will not be rushed, generally walks at a methodical medium pace, neither fast nor slow. anyway some of the staircases are very narrow and it’s hard to squeeze by people on them. Logus can manage it sometimes bc he’s a noodle, but if he gets stuck behind osk they’ll usually refuse to let him pass: he’ll try to slip to one side or the other and they will block the way either side with their braid or just shifting their weight a little so that logus has to slow his pace and walk behind them, quietly fuming. anyway sometimes when logus tries to squeeze by osk seems for a moment like they’re about to let him, then turns in a flash and pins him against the wall instead & either stares him down for a very slow 15 seconds before continuing or else someone caves and goes in for some expression of intimacy and then it’s a desperate “i hate you i need you i hate you” make-out session in the staircase for some 5 or so minutes or until osk breaks it off & they go wherever they were on their way to and proceed to Never Talk About It. this probably happens enough that in times of Peak Tension whenever they find themselves in a little-used stairway together they both more or less expect it, external commitments be hanged, but they still have to pretend it happens accidentally every time so they go through the ritual of logus trying to get past & oskyod stopping him. it’s of course especially unavoidable if one person is going up and the other is going down, bc they have to try to squeeze past and always wind up touching in doing so and then it’s all over.
oh also logus is compulsively punctual and this is one of the few things that can make him Late and osk really loves to mess with his cred in that way. its esp funny bc oskyod is usually the one to call off the interaction, despite logus being the one with Somewhere To Be. one time osk kept going for a long while just to see how late they could make logus before he’d say something (needless to say logus was Right Pissed when he caught on & also humiliated by the realization that he’d come to rely on oskyod never taking him as far or as long as he wanted, that that was his only failsafe for never being super late because of this sort of thing, that without acknowledging what he was doing he’d given oskyod control over his time and schedule and the management thereof and godddamnit if that doesn’t fly in the face of everything he is supposed to be)
