Warrior Cats Lost Stars cover redesign
- Mommy, I had an incredible dream today!
Lost Stars apprentices!!
Let’s all be pathetic and not tell Bristlepaw
Let’s all be primary colors and not tell Shadowpaw
Let’s all look like mama and not tell Rootpaw
I’m only a few chapters into lost stars and I decided to draw the trio before I saw any fanart of them, so my designs aren’t bias by the fandom’s agreed upon designs lol. I’m curious to now look up fanart and see how they’re usually portrayed!
Bristle is blue because I chose the wrong marker she wasn’t supposed to be THAT blue but I don’t hate it heh….
Shadow has Dove’s feather/wing shaped patterns because I can
Root…. I have no idea what “yellow” means in cats bruh but here’s yellow. Also he’s curly fluffy now.
At the part of the book I’m at, none of their eye colors have been mentioned, so I made it up.
PLEASE SEND ART REQUESTS FOR MY DESIGN OF ANY WARRIOR CATS!! I’ve read up to lost stars and the few newest super editions, so anything else I’d love to draw for you, please ask
I’ve never posted warriors on my blog before so uh yeah surprise moots I like kids books.
♥️
If Waves of Love is a canon event, then what about the Lost Stars episode? Would we get a chance to redeem ourselves? ZZG PLEEEEAAASE like can get get it right this time 🙏🏼😔
MISSING ANDOR? READ LOST STARS by Claudia Gray!
Andor is good but can we talk about Lost Stars???
I heard what people like the most about ANDOR is:
- that it shows real life of people in Star Wars
- including the life and perspective of people working for the empire, with their belief that they're doing the right thing
- it shows fascism
- it shows that nothing is black and white
- no jedi and lightsabers and this kinda bullshit
Let me introduce you to LOST STARS written by Claudia Gray in 2015. A book which also shows all of the above!!! 📚
It's about 2 friends raised convinced that the Empire is good. They both go to the imperial academy and Ciena dreams of a career within the ranks while Thane at some point joins the rebels alliance. We get to see the life in the galaxy from both sides of the conflict and how the 2 perspectives collide.
A damn good book. I read it when it came out and remember thinking about it all the good things that's now being said about Andor: that it shows real people and what it's like on both sides the rebels and the empire.
SO if you liked Andor and you're sad that it ended and you miss the vibes, read Lost Stars to get a taste of it! And maybe consider other positions by Claudia Gray as well.
Gray also wrote BLOODLINE in 2016. That one was about Leia in politics and a dispute between 2 parties. After I finished reading, I remember thinking about 3 possible interpretations of the title of this book in relation to the plot.
She also wrote Leia: Princess of Alderaan. I never read that one but now when I reminded you and myself how good of an author Claudia Gray is, I think I'll read this after I finish watching Andor.
May the Force be with you. Read books and support female authors. Peace and love
