[A rock lands next to Abel, sharp and small. He glances up, seeing a familiar owl-like boy grinning at him.]
Hello Abel, how are you today? Is your hand feeling alright?
[Asa sits next to the Abel, an excited grin on his face. It's unnatural- unnerving- to see such a moody happy.]
You'll never guess what I saw today! Go on, guess!
[Asa pauses before interrupting any guess Abel would've made. He pulls a small bundle out of his bag, shoving it in Abel's face. He grins, excitedly rambling to the blond.]
I found a perfectly intact bird skeleton! Isn't it absolutely amazing? I know I know, dear Kitt is far more into ornithology than you, but I feel he's too fragile to see something like this.

<< Abel feels a sharp whip of air slash across his foot as a rock lands in the sand, he looks up at the owl shaped boy. It had felt far too long since he’d seen Asa. Asa cocked his head at the blonde boy, a genuine grimace across his face. >>
“Considering I haven't socked any nutters lately, it’s feeling rather peachy.“
<< He doesn't mention anyone by name, but it doesn’t take a name for Asa to be familiar to who he's referring to. It’d be rather hard not to considering that Abel hasn't punched many other blonde boys as of lately. Afterall, it had been god knows how long since he saw Cain. He hoped Cain was somewhere thinking the same thing, but his hopes of that outcome were starting to be snuffed out by the reality of the situation. >>
<< Abel wasn’t used to seeing Asa this giddy, he thought it was an expression that suited him perfectly. Before the blonde could reply Asa started babbling, eagerly showing Abel the jewel of his eye. >>
“Blimey! I may not know a lot ‘bout birds, but I do know bones. I don’t know the proper names ‘er anything, but there’s this patch of woods behind my house. We got all sorts of critters back there, sometimes their bones are left behind. Do you know what they’re called? They’re pretty neat finds if you get to ‘em before the spiders make homes out of ‘em.”
