     “   i know,   i know   --   i meant to come to monaco but i really didn’t think going on a ski trip would make me catch a cold.   ”     being a snow bunny while also being immunocompromised had to be some sort of ill-timed punishment.     “   anyways,   i’m all well.   ”     she neatly folds her hands,   tucking them beneath her chin as she presses eager elbows into the table.     “   but tell me how your new year’s went   --   i was getting fomo just thinking of all the fun.   ”     she frowns.

“ your highness —— ”  her hand extends warmly, for louise to shake, a glittering smile offered as their hands meet, grip tightening ever so slightly as it always does. a firm handshake, maybe a cliché, but it serves well. 

“ i’m so glad you had the time to meet ! please — ” hand withdraws to gesture to the plush cushions across her on the sofa, “ make yourself comfortable. ”  [ @louisedebelgique ]​

do you know what we all DESERVE ?? we deserve to see some benelux unity. think of BASH and LOUISE, or OLIVIER and WILLA… i won’t suggest anything for FEMKE because we all know she just might go for it, and we don’t want to see SAMUEL die. but do you know what i’d KILL FOR ?? MILENA and ROMAN. it’s the hateship that would keep us on the edges of our seats ! UNFORTUNATELY, i don’t think it’ll happen… the same goes for RENÉE and LISETTE…

     her heart stammers in her chest   --   an obvious sign of distress   --   but éloïse ignores it in favor of running her mouth a mile a second,   getting a hold of the nearest staff with a clipboard the second she comes to and is able to stand without a sway in her step.   her hands are vice-like as she holds onto the person’s arms,   nearly shaking them as she stares them down.     “   have you seen my siblings ?!   ”     it doesn’t dawn on her until half a second after that the other probably doesn’t know just who her siblings may be in the chaos of events.   her fingers loosen,   if only to stab at the clipboard earnestly.     “   please check,   louise and léopold de saxe-cobourg et gotha.   ”     she isn’t used to saying her brother’s name in length,   but the way it passes through her lips ends in a rushed haste,   trying to stop the rivet of tears already forming at her lashes.     “    what are you doing !?   check it now !   ”     she snaps,   finally forgoing politeness as desperation seeps into her features.
