*(There's so much English in this song! I literally just discovered SpeXial and from what I've seen of them, I like them a lot. (I think I prefer them the most with the addition of Riley, Win, and Ian though). I decided to translate their whole "Love Killah" mini album, so I will start uploading those soon ^^.)
*(I do not own the lyrics to this song – the lyrics belong to the writers. I typed the lyrics myself using Google Translate and referencing the lyrics in the video on the official Youtube channel. I did the Pinyin and Translation myself, however. I use Traditional Chinese characters just like they do in Taiwan because I prefer them to Simplified and I taught myself Chinese using Traditional characters. Please note that Chinese is not my first language so at times, my translations might be off, too literal, or wrong. I’m still learning, and I translate songs to gain experience, so I apologize in advance for any errors ^^)
*(To translate songs, I use an online Mandarin dictionary, an online Cantonese dictionary (it is a Canto-Mando, Mando-Canto, Canto-Eng, Mando-Eng, Pinyin-Jyutping, etc., dictionary and is VERY explanatory) and a paperback Mandarin dictionary.)
*(All the awkward spacing in the Pinyin is to show the different words. It is color-coded on my computer, but I can’t keep the colors T-T)
*(When a part of the translation is in parentheses, it means that that word is implied to make the translation sound better in English. Words will be implied because Chinese is much more vague than English and sometimes doesn’t make a whole lot of sense when translated literally.)
*(Throughout the song, in the Pinyin, every time you see “不” (Bu) written with the second tone (ú) instead of the standard fourth tone (ù), it is because the character following it is also pronounced with the fourth tone. “不” is standardly pronounced with the fourth tone in Mandarin, except for when it is followed by another character of the fourth tone, in which case its pronunciation changes to tone two. I changed the pronunciation each time this happened, for example, “Bú Shì”)
*(In the line, "一切都是緣 /// 好好把握", "好好" (Hǎo Hǎo) is also pronounced "Hǎo Hāo.")
*(In the line, "給我 all you love", I think that "you" is a typo and it is supposed to be "your" because the line means "Give me all your love" and "Give me all you love" is grammatically incorrect. Just wanted to point this out, sorry...)
*(I find the line, "Yes 我們需要 babe" a bit funny because it is awkward in English (meaning: we want a babe.) Although they mean "babe" in the context of "girlfriend" it implies that they want a literal baby and it's just funny when you hear it. Again, this has no relevance to the translation and I'm just rambling, so sorry...)
*(In the line, "我們在哪裡 /// 請你在意", “哪裡” (Nǎ Lǐ) means “Where” and “Wherever”. It also means “No” when it is used in Modest Denial: ex. “哪裡, 我的國語不好 (No, my Mandarin is not good.)” In Northern China, Mandarin speakers prefer to use “哪兒” (Nǎ Er) which is also pronounced “Nǎ’R” and it means “Where/Wherever” just like “Na Li”. “Na Er” would most likely be used in Beijing-dialect and other Northern-Mandarin-dialect Chinese. In Northern Mandarin, the speakers really enjoy rolling their R’s (兒) and this practice is called “兒化” (Ér Huà) in Chinese and it means that it is the “Usage of the final particle/suffix “兒” and it is placed after many commonly-used nouns to avoid employing one-syllable terms in Northern-Mandarin and Beijing-Mandarin Mandarin dialects.” Also, as a final note, “哪裡” is more likely to be pronounced “Nǎ Lǐ” in Taiwan and “Nǎ Li” in Mainland China.)
*(In the line, "冰清玉潔少女心", the phrase, "冰清玉潔" (Bīng Qīng Yù Jié) means "Pure and Noble; and, Pure and Virtuous" and it literally means "As Clean as Ice and as Pure as Jade." There are a few synonyms of this phrase and they are as follows: "玉潔冰清" (Yù Jié Bīng Qīng) (which means "To be Pure and Noble Like Jade and Ice (Speaking of a Woman's Character); "冰清玉兒" (Bīng Qīng Yù Er/Ér) (which means the same as the first two definitions); and "冰清玉潤" (Bīng Qīng Yù Rùn) (which also means the same as the other definitions, though separately, the character "Run" means "Smooth; or, Moist." Just thought this would be fun to share ^^)
*(In the line, "完全為了你沉醉", I translated it as "Because of you, I'm completely intoxicated." "為了" (Wèi Le) means "In Order to; For the Purpose of; So as to; For (Someone), etc." "為" by itself and pronounced with the fourth tone also means "Because of; For; or, To, etc." so I translated it as "Because of..." instead of "For..." because it made more sense in the context of the sentence.)
