2017..

I feel like the beginning of the year was amazing and a lot of amazing fun things happened. I ignored a lot of the bad but soon the bad started outweighing the good as the second half of the year came around and it has left the worst taste in my mouth. 

It makes me mad that all of the bad things are what I’m going to remember most about this year instead of things that I still feel like I haven’t had time to celebrate properly. 

I miss the people that were the most dear to me. I wish things ended differently this year. I also know that a lot of the bad things could be avoided if I weren’t so selfish. 

But I treasure those who have stayed by my side and are truly by my side regardless of stupid insecurities and grudges. 

I just want to breathe this year and look forward to the future with my love by focusing more on us and not on those friends who use him as an excuse for my own failures. I know where I stand and I know where I want to be. I just wish that other people could see that too.
