Lombok is not all about beautiful beach or Hiking Mount Rinjani. While on my way to Senaru area for its waterfalls, I came across this little peaceful village with full of paddy fields. Decided to just flew my drone to have a full look into it and get a feel of how big the paddy fields. I was blown away by this view, it seems like the locals just transform the whole valley into their paddy fields. Some part is still green and some part is in a process of harvesting. Breathtaking! While in Lombok, try to explore into suburb for view like this and escape from the tourist trap. The benefit of waking up super early in the morning to catch sunrise is being able to see the dark sky full of stars and also the milky way like this. I climbed up to the Pergasingan Hill just opposite the grandeur Mt. Rinjani, it was a new moon night, so I can easily see the stars and milky way just above the summit of Mt. Rinjani. If you look closely enough, you can also see some light dots near the summit to the right, it was the light from the Mt. Rinjani climbers who tries to reach the summit early in the morning.
