You know how much I adore your writing. I’ve always said it has this tangible, real feel with how you twine words and descriptions and something about it feels alive. Well, I’ve figured out who your writing reminds me of—Alix E Harrow. She has written some of the most wonderful books and her most recent one, The Everlasting, reminds me very much of you.

I was not familiar but I read the synopsis for The Everlasting and it sounds amazing and right up my alley - I love historical romance and time travel! Oh, I love your idea to send in a WIP and have a moodboard! Maybe this’ll spark my creativity.

I’d looove to work on my story where the reader can see auras/see death and illness in people. Worst Logan works as a bartender and she comes in and he maybe sees a glimpse of her aura (silver) and there’s some instant, steamy attraction. She sees him, the tangled veins of his scars and the kaleidoscope of his unstable aura.

Blurb for your reading pleasure:

Logan looks up and spots you walking towards the bar. For a moment it looks like you’re bathed in silver light, but just as soon as he looks away, that glow is gone.

You sit at the end of the bar, farthest away from the only remaining patron. He takes in your appearance—hair in a messy bun, rumpled hospital issued scrubs, exhaustion lining your eyes.

You should be at home, not here. But that’s not his business.

“What can I get you?”

When you finally look up at him, he feels like the air has been punched out of his lungs. Your gaze is piercing, something behind those lashes making it feel like he’s been flayed open and you can see all his flaws, all the dark bits he keeps hidden, the self loathing that runs through his veins.

He blinks and that feeling dissipates, bleeding into the air between you. Logan wonders if he’s hallucinating, if maybe he’s drank more than he thought tonight.

hi hi lub! 💖 ahh I love this so much! what a great power to have as someone in the medical field, and oh my god what an aura he must have - I am dying to know what she thinks when she sees it! (And how he gets to see that glow about her and how taken he is immediately, I am 🥺💖!!)
