So far until now, I can only say that nothing was forgotten! Codex Seraphinianus, an illustrated encyclopedia written by the artist, architect and designer Luigi Serafini, reinvents and reinterprets the world as we know. The artist created a fantastic alphabet during two years and half and illustrated a huge wonderful world where the bacterias were considered, the human beings proposed, the flowers turn into balloons, the trees have their own will, the transports were mechanically drawn and annotated, different characters playing different roles, measured food, designed clothes.
/ Luigi Serafini borned in Rome in 1949. Codex Seraphinianus is his more recognized work. The artist produces art in different formats and scales as designing scenarios for theathre plays and TV shows, developing ceramic pieces and sculptures with different materials.
