sorry for the late reply!! i had a hard time figuring out which number was which question, cause the original ask game and any reblogs of it have seemingly disappeared, but i believe i found them all! the only one i didn't do was 6, as i'm not comfy with questions of that nature^^

brian absolutely does, both in canon and in aus where they run off together. i don’t think dexter would intentionally, though. maybe without realizing it.

oooh this is such a good one. hmmm…i wanna say yes, but not that much. i still think brian would’ve grown possessive over dexter, despite being younger than him. but maybe dexter would’ve remembered brian, since he would’ve been older when his mother died and the memories weren’t as easy to forget/repress?? lots and lots to think about for sure…

yes. 1000%. obviously brian is insanely possessive in canon, but so is dexter, with him feeling a connection to the ice truck killer and not wanting anyone else to take him on/lock him up. i think that obsession would transfer over even if they were in a normal relationship (er, as “normal” as they could get lol).

18. how would they react to being exposed?

assuming they’re in a relationship and everyone finds out they’re related, i honestly think they would just run away. pack their bags and leave. brian especially wouldn’t want anyone getting in between him and dexter, and if they stayed wherever they were that they were exposed, that would definitely happen. dexter would probably react like they’d just found out he’s a murderer (which…could also be something that happens as a result of being “found out”, and would also result in them turning tail and fleeing the state haha).

I understand where you're coming from about the KC drama. It would have been one thing if this was just private content that was leaked but KC was very knowingly putting this out in a very insidious and subtle way that wasn't obvious to anyone outside her circle. She was posting to an audience she KNEW was full of minors and even had minors on the team while making this content. Even ignoring the context, it's just not nice to be lied to.

"kc was very knowingly putting this out in a very insidious and subtle way" no she wasn't???? until now, nobody ever batted an eye at anything 'hidden' in sparklecare because there *wasn't* anything. now that there's a callout, though, people are making reaches and assumptions that're based on nothing but them being icked out by the whole general situation. sparklecare isn't a fetish comic; there's literally 0 hints of incest in the comic. idk why people are obsessed with finding things that simply aren't there. also, until now, nobody cared about minors being in the fandom/working on the comic. even with all the gore and sexual innuendos and other adult content. but now that they have a bad view of kc, they have to find every little thing to blame her for. it's pathetic and hypocritical. and it's insane to me that people were fine with the fictional gore and murder and everything before, but now they draw the line at fictional incest (not a personal line, mind you, but a line that they self-righteously believe everyone should follow). as for your last point, you're right, it isn't nice being lied to. but you know what's worse? being called a groomer, a pedophile, a zoophile, all because you *checks notes* drew incest of your own ocs in private. being lied to isn't an excuse to say all the horrible things people are saying about kc. like. jesus christ.
