Indeed!! We don't know the Doctor's true name--However, his wife (yes he has one of those) knows his name, and has used it for plot reasons before, even if the audience doesn't hear it. He would indeed give his name to Logico as a sign of trust and affection after a while! I also do like the idea of the Director going by that title for his own reasons and totally building up an illusion of where he comes from vs his actual lore

I have just randomly thought of other questions about Logicos vampire AU (sorry and deeply sorry if you've already been asked these ^^;)

1. Does Logico have to be invited into places before he can enter them?

2. If someone throws some rice on the floor, will Logico be compelled to stop and count the rice?

3. Even though Logico doesn't jave any supernatural powers, do his eyes still glow in the dark like some vampire media shows vampires having?

For vampire reasons, nope, but just out of politeness ones. He can't fathom just walking into someone's place without an invitation, Tino asked him about it and Logico is just like "Why tf would I just walk into someone's home???" At least it makes investigations easier- Imagine if he suspects realized you can get away with murder in your own home because he deductive can't get in XD

I think he would, but it's controllable. Less of a magic hing and more of a curiosity hing, because now he has all the time in the world to count and he has hightened enough senses where each grain is very clearly defined, but he's got bills to pay and cases to solve so he moves on, if that makes sense?

Yeah, he gets glowy/reflective eyes as a treat. Imagine Tino's surprise when he just sees glowing eyes in the dark staring at him. It's like a black cat in the dark. Definitely makes people double take when they see them lmao

You know what, since we’re asking about this AU, I really wanna know: how did the Institute react to Irratino basically having to confirm vampires were real, and his jerk boyfriend was one of them? (The opinion of the Institute on Logico is solely the opinion of the Institute and does not reflect the opinion of Lily the Litten. He WAS a jerk to them, though.)

To answer your question, the first response was hesitation and confusion, because come on, there's no way the first real vampire proven to exist is that guy. It can't possibly be their boss's ass boyfriend, who is also The Most Boring (in terms of esotericism) Guy Around.

As soon as they realize that Tino is not kidding, however-

Because vampires actually eist and their boss is dating one and they can get their pressing questions answered!!! Even if they can't share them. And said answers are, uh, pretty disappointing when it turns out Logico can't read minds or fly or turn into a bat or anything like that haha

A thought just struck me—so, like, Irratino initially assumes the Director is just a rival Time Lord, right?

…how’s he gonna react when he learns who he actually is, and—perhaps more importantly—why he hates Irratino so much?

Ooh, not well at all-- Irratino carries his fair share of guilt, because he's done a lot of things and as a result he's made mistakes along the way. Though, this is probably one of the worst ones he's made. He accidentally put the Director into one of the worst hells imaginable, being lost from his time and world and everything he knows and none of it even exists as a memory outside of him and his companion, and its a hell he can't even escape from. He feels very bad about that and, if the Director only asked, he would help in any way he could.

Though, its doubtful he would accept any help. Tino's "Help" is what got him into this nightmare in the first place, after all.

Who TF is Indigo and why he beefing with my blorbos?!

Congrats on finishing Vol 2!! White is the gaslight gatekeep girlboss of the century huh. As for Indigo! No spoilers, but you'll see a *lot* of him in Vol 3 and the answers of why he's beefing will be exposed. Honestly one of my favorite Murdle antagonists overall (And Lily's too iirc)

I have a couple of silly questions about your vampire AU for Logico. (Cuz I love vampires and Logico too much).

1) Is garlic and lavander legitimate weaknesses for Logico like in the myths.

2) Does Logico have any supernatural abilities that he just hasn't unlocked yet or can he genuinely just not do any of that and that's purely just in the myths.

Hehe, always happy to answer AU questions!! And the vampire AU holds a special place in my heart for being my first Murdle AU ^^ 1) With garlic, it's probably a similar deal as silver- If he eats a little, he'll get sick, but overall recover. A lot would make him sicker. Also, with his heightened senses, its smell alone is really offputting and overpowering, so another reason to avoid it. With lavender, probably not? Just because I was re-reading the Vampire Logico fic to get my lore and details in check and Irratino has lavender soaps/perfumes (I've heard of the garlic myths, but not as much the lavender ones!) and it'd be a bit of an awkward retcon to make him uncomfortable with lavender haha. 2) He does indeed! Vampire Logico is notably faster, stronger, and has keener senses than a human. He doesn't need sleep, and he heals much quicker too- Plus, those injuries don't scar at all. The last scar he's gotten is the fang mark on his neck, matter of fact. (He'll write this all off as just "an evolutionary advantage" and "vampires are pursuit hunters instead of persistence" and whatnot.) Vampire Logico is also immortal! Though, he's got a few more years before he realizes he doesn't age while everyone around him is- He's frozen in time. He's not going to die unless someone hits him with vampire hunting gear- Silver bullets, fire, stake, the like. (though, as Logico is keen to point out, that will kill anyone regardless of vampire status). Sadly, he doesn't have the usual vampire powers like telepathy, shapeshifting into a bat, enthralling anyone, the like. Irratino's maybe secretly a little disappointed. Not that Logico needs any supernatural charm to have him hooked. Thanks so much for the ask!! ^^
