Spelling error in second to last panel. Should say "you know" but says "you now."
Oh, no--heās not saying he knows Sans isnāt going to like talking, heās telling Toriel kind of ahead of time that his brother isnāt going to be happy. Itās a matter of when, not what ^^

Why wouldnāt aliens be homosexual? Itās found all over the animal kingdom. If anything its weird that aliens have 2 genders at all given that many a lifeform, from fungi to bees has more then 2.

Both meat eater scientists and vegan scientists have their short comings. Iāve seen meat eating scientists insists that animals are incapable of emotions, attachments, or thought. Not to mention meat-happy science is cool with using lab rats and other animal experiments for our drugs instead of the way better organ in a chip system. :/
congrats youāre going to get me going on a special topic: the necessity of animal experiments in science when it comes to drugs.
First of, people are already using less animals then before because amazingly enough scientists arenāt psychopaths who get off on doing potentially damaging things to small fuzzy creatures. The idea is to reduce and replace as many animal tests as possible. But the thing is, itās not always possible.
āorgan in a chipā tell you fuckall about systemic interactions different organs exposed to the same drugs might have. Systemic interactions are incredibly complex and at the current point almost impossible to mimic, meaning that you have to go for in vivo tests on animals instead of in vitro because the in vitro only provides an incomplete picture, which may endanger actual humans lives if one jumped straight from the in vitro to the in vivo human. You need the bolstered safety measure of another whole, live creature somewhere between to try and avoid that the liver medication you developed doesnāt accidentally fuck up your immune system. Plus all the stuff on your body thatās not strictly one organ, like your immune system. Maybe the drug interacts funky with your immune response but you wonāt see that unless you throw it at a whole immune system.Ā
The alternative to using lab animals for systemic things is using humans. Thatās not more humane, thatās less.Ā
This has been bugging me... when you betrayal kill Toriel (you know, spare then kill when she spares) she says "To think I was worried you wouldn't fit in out there. You really are no different than them!" What's she referring to? The monsters? That seems odd since only Sans will betrayal kill you. Is she referred to the other fallen humans?
(undertale spoilers)
There are a few time before her battle that Toriel saysĀ ātheyā to refer to others. First, she uses it to refer to the other fallen humans.
TORIEL:Every human that falls down here meets the same fate.I have seen it again and again. They come. They leave. They die.
Considering Toriel is still alive, itās unlikely that the other fallen humans are what Toriel is referring to. Furthermore, she also usesĀ ātheyā when referring to those who will kill you.
TORIEL:You naive child⦠If you leave the RUINSā¦They⦠ASGORE⦠Will kill you.I am only protecting you, do you understand?ā¦go to your room.
Considering ātheyā is used right before she says Asgoreās name, itās possible she was trying to be vague before changing her mind. Alternatively, perhaps Toriel believes the other monsters just as bad as Asgore because Asgoreās plan of killing the humans brought them hope.
ASGORE:In a fit of anger, I declared war.I said that I would destroy any human that came here.I would use their souls to become godlikeā¦ā¦and free us from this terrible prison. Then, I would destroy humanityā¦And let monsters rule the surface, in peace.Soon, the peopleās hopes returned.
While none of the monsters except Sans will perform a betrayal kill, Toriel may be referring to how her trust was betrayed by Asgore and the other monsters. In any case, it is unlikely that she is referring to the other fallen humans.

Sorry but, I killed Toriel, and I didn't see any such Echo Flower, are you sure? Citation video or something?
sure C: this is the video I actually took the screengrabs from:
(relevant part of) video transcript:
*Where am I...? *Itās so cold here... *And so dark... *Someone help me... *Anyone...please... *Help me... (shaking text) *... (shaking text) *But nobody came.
basically you have to walk far enough away from that particular flower (without leaving the room) and then backtrack, and the message that itād had previously will change.
in contrast, if toriel is still alive, you get this message, instead:
(relevant part of) video transcript:
*Where oh where could that child be...? *Iāve been looking all over for them... *... (shaking text) *Hee hee hee. (shaking text) *THATāS not true. (shaking text) *Sheāll find another kid, and instantly forget about you. (shaking text) *Youāll NEVER see her again.
Do we ask about the general story here or can we direct questions are particular characters...? The Ness blog seems to be out of order so is this his replacement home?
You can ask about general story and things like that here. Nessā blog is indeed out of order for the time being and I wouldnāt really want to make this area his replacement home. But you can ask questions about the characters and things here.

Skeptical of the pettings are associated with food hypothesis. Birds preen and cats rub and butt against each other to display affection, not to mention groom each other. It would seem more likely that they are āevolvedā to perceive of our pets as similar to their grooming/preening sessions, which they also bond with each other over.
I said the exact same thing in the ask that preceeded this one.Ā
Also this was specifically about species that donāt have grooming behaviour but can still be trained to seek out human contact, or at least be habituated to it Example: snails. They donāt really want you handling them but you can teach them thatĀ āthe big warm thing from the sky means food/bathingsā so that they donāt suck back into their houses that badly anymore.Ā
