plotted thing for @lunar-torment
She hadn’t intended on getting involved. Pack life for the weres around her Queendom was to be none of her concern. That was until she’d met Bradley. He was kind, different from the born weres that she’d met in the past. More human, less animal than the wolves she’d interacted with (though aside from Alcide, she hadn’t exactly met the cream of the crop). But she felt protective over Bradley. She didn’t know how things worked for a person who was turned wolf, and maybe that was why she felt so connected to him: neither of them had intended to be what they are now, and neither of them had the person who was supposed to teach them how to handle it all to lean on. She’d been working upstairs with some of the younger vampires when she’d heard the call from her guard, the smell of blood drifting up the stairs. The young Queen was down in a heartbeat, wide gaze narrowing onto the wounds bleeding down Bradley’s face. She could smell the Shreveport pack all over him and it made her blood boil. Pack animals were too dangerous, too fucked up to be anywhere near her as far as she was concerned. Anger evident in her features contradicted the gentle touch of her fingers as she tilted his chin so she could see the extent of the damage that had been done. “What happened? I need as much detail as you can give me.”
