Victorian Wall & Table Oil Lamps

@xsavannahx987 released lamps converted from TS3 quite a while ago, and I loved the wall lamp; I wanted to convert it to a table lamp, but I didn't know how to go about it: UNTIL NOW

I made the lamp overall smaller; made the shade transparent glass, and added the flame effects.

With the help of one of @lumenniveus candle holders I made a nice base, and adjusted it to make the final table lamp!

Each version has four swatches. Savannah's had two, and I added versions with plain glass flues:

These are the first of my oil lamps that are fully base game compatible, using candle flames instead of the Cats & Dogs flame (which is bigger). I do plan on converting the others as well! (at some point, I have got a lot on my list!); and Off The Grid!

but. this creative force is fully expressed in nati. voice of the people, voice of the revolution, your everyman (everywoman), nati from carabanchel which was iirc virtually destroyed... her ultimate goal is the creation of a better world. ‘someone will have to plant flowers in this earth afterwards’. a garden they’d have with laura... she’s an artist, she’s always been like that. sketches of mayte only by laura’s words... but. she’s not innocent or naive, she’s not a child, she’s actually older than laura (which adds lolz), she doesn’t have illusions, she fully realizes this goal involves fighting and how it looks. it’s a major point since laura is so protective of her, she wants to make it clear that she doesn’t need to be treated Like That. especially since she’s also dealing with sexism from the guys. laura is the flame from a spark. she used to be an activist, but... life happens. she quickly became disillusioned once the war started. and this flame came in a different way than it’s implied in slogans. she’s... an embodiment of Justice. burn them all. it’s more than her right, it’s the only feasible way to cope for her. but she doesn’t really see anything else. it sucks to be around her, and it sucks to be her, and while this is a very recognizable character... she shouldn’t be idealized. nati is the real one. cause nati is... life. a constant nagging reminder that there is something else than death. nati is... the life that was snatched from laura. of course there’s transference at play here.

one more polarity to consider in OCs (like in that post, justice or mercy). before i crash. destroyer vs creator. i mean, you can guess which one is laura. there is no future to create. nothing like they hoped. that dream won’t be made true. ever. she does have a goal in the present though. and doing an amazing job of it. natalia believes in the creation of a better world. even (excuse me) technically, in the revolution... this is the goal that can, and must be achieved, even if (insert tragic bullshit backstory), there’s always hope there’s always a reason to keep going, as long as you’re you know doing something useful. laura protects nati... as a replacement tbqh. nati is not okay with it, she’s an adult and would prefer to be treated as such. and yet... she’s in love. hopeleslly in love with someone who couldn’t care less and who doesn’t need or accept help. they’re both fucked in this situation, tbh. ‘i won’t lose this one...’
