These live infamously in my history, don't they? Although one could misconstrue them as titles, not nicknames. Nicknames, though?

'Stat, that's the obvious one. Shorten my name down to one syllable.

Papa Jaune, that's a more precious one. Only two have ever used it, and one of them is gone forever. The other will never utter it again.

Stat-chat. This one is intimate, and almost lover baby-talk, and I thrill to hear it but would blush should it be uttered anywhere outside our home, possibly even outside the bedroom.

Je voulais faire des choses ce matin et puis, ma fille m'a téléphoné ! Une heure de discussion, parce qu'on a toujours quelque chose à se dire. Je mesure la chance que j'ai d'avoir une telle complicité avec elle. Ce n'est pas pour me vanter, mais je pense avoir la meilleure fille au monde !

Aujourd'hui ma fille a 25 ans.

C'est beaucoup d'émotion pour moi de penser à ces 25 années à ce qu'on a partagé, à la façon dont on a grandi ensemble, à tout ce qu'elle m'apporte, à tous nos échanges, nos discussions.

C'est une belle personne avec un cœur immense. Elle est généreuse et sensible, j'ai hâte de découvrir ce que ce que vont nous apporter les 25 prochaines années.

Je ne peux jamais expliquer pourquoi je l'aime assez, en quelque sorte, les mots ne suffisent jamais à l'exprimer. Peut-être que c'est mes propres capacités dans la matière mais à moi sa comment les produits chimiques dans ma tête réagissent aux petites choses que je sens dans mon coeur comme peut-être un sourire sur mon visage quand elle me dit des plaisanteries stupides, Ou peut-être comme mon âme calme quand elle le prend. C'est juste la façon dont ça me fait sentir. Comme si c'était vrai et rien de moins. Je n'essaie pas de l'expliquer trop, parce que c'est un peu accablant pour moi. Donc je le sens, et j'essaie de l'apprécier autant. Mon cœur s'ouvre à sa voix. Je trouve la paix dans les trous entre son souffle. Tu es tout pour moi, chérie.
