Hii! Let me share you the story of how I got hold of my Macbook 12″. The story is pretty funny. Well not really funny, but it was kinda amusing since I got it at a really cheap price! 

I originally wanted the Macbook Air 11″ since my old baby (Macbook 13″) got super bulky and heavy and it was pretty slow since I had it for over 4 years already. So I was checking out laptops in Apple and took note of the prices and asked my mom to check how much it was in Greenhills. I guess some people find it odd to buy gadgets there since not everyone really trusts everything that they’re selling, but we’re used to buying our phones there and they’re definitely waaaay cheaper than in actual stores in the malls.

So my mom called me and said that they didn’t have any Macbook Air 11″ but only the 13″. I got pretty upset since I just wanted a smaller one so that it wouldn’t take up so much space in my bag. Then she called me again and said that someone offered her the Macbook 12″ for around Php 53k. Mind you, the original price in iCenter was more than Php 70k. Like, wtf why is it so cheap?! I don’t even know why!! But it’s working fine and they have a warranty with the apple stores so it’s kinda okay.

At first, I got pretty hesitant since it would be so hard for me to transfer files since I have to buy another wire thing to connect the USB. But then it’s the newest MacBook and offered at the lowest price! And the Macbook Air 11″ was priced at around Php 45k. So then I got it and I’m super happy! If you wanna buy there, just make sure the product is sealed and check the code thing on the box. Try to search online or take a photo of it in the apple stores if they’re the same and all. 

So now to answer your question, it would actually depend on what you would be using your laptop for. I use my laptop as a secondary thing since I use the desktop at home so I wouldn’t store so much stuff in the laptop. I mostly use it only for note taking in school and presentations. It’s super easy to bring everywhere since it’s so thin and so light.

But if you’re into like photoshop or illustrator or those with heavier apps, I think I’d go with the Pro since they have better resolution, better graphics better processor, it has the built in USB ports and sd cards, and yeah.
