Evan kept his gaze fixed on her. Completely forgetting about the conversation he had with his friends.
"She is beautiful" he thought.
He watched as the boy with the glasses approached her, until their arms collided.
"You're growling like a dog, Evan" Regulus said.
"He is very little thing to her" he replied, without looking away from the couple a few meters in front of them.
"You should go over there, and tell her" Barty spoke, finishing a cigarette and stubbing the butt on the ground.
Evan denied twice, but as soon as the girl's companion left the shore of Black Lake, he got up and walked towards her.
"Hello, MacDonald" he greeted.
She saluted back, surprised.
"Do you have something with Fenwick? I mean something serious" he asked bluntly.
"Nothing official for now... may I ask why are you interested in that?" She talked.
"It's a small thing for you. You deserve someone else. Someone who fits you" he replied.
She laughed in his face at his words, and Evan was stunned by her smile.
"And is... 'that best thing for me' is supposed to be you?" She ask.
"Yes, it's me" he answered honestly.
"What?" She looked at him in confusion.
"I can be everything you need, MacDonald. Give me a chance... there's a way out in Hogsmeade..." he hesitated for a few seconds "No, give me a month. A month and I will show you that I am all you need"
She hesitated, still not removing the smile from her face. And he preferred to focus on how cute she is rather than her silence.
"Sounds good to me, Rosier..." she smiled flirtatiously at him and leaned over to kiss his cheek "See you Saturday at six, I'm dying for a butterbeer"
"Sure..." Evan muttered into the air, watching as the little Gryffindor left the shore of Black Lake, feeling excited.
