Shots Shots Shots {Elli & Mads}

Elli was one too many drinks in, which is why he was in NTO and not Pixie’s. It was easier to lose control in a place that didn’t know you as well. Even if well one of the last times he was here he had gotten into a fight and Nick had to save him.

Tonight wasn’t for that though.

Tonight was just to let loose and relax. He already made out with a guy or two before he stumbled to the bar. Before he got cut off when he tried to order another drink. Before someone who recognized him called one of his brothers to save him.

As if he needed saving.

So while all that was happening, Elliot went back out to the dance floor. He might as well enjoy his last few moments before someone crashed his party.

Trade Off {Wendy & Mads}

Wendy was back, sooner than expected but Wendy was back along with all of her family. There wasn’t another outcome that could make Wendy more happy, more proud even with impending doom around the corner.

It was that happiness and pride that followed behind her as she needed to accomplish one task before the day was up. Getting the box of letters back.

It was an easy journey to visit Mads, and even though she should have texted, just like how she should have texted when she realized she was coming back in general, Wendy showed up unannounced but at least with a box of sweets as a thank you for letting her just drop off a box of letters without warning.

Common Ground  || Mads + Ratigan

Oh what a mistake it had been to not leave the classroom after his lecture in a timely manner. He should have been paying attention to his surroundings better (usually one of his strong suits) but there was much to be distracted with in this new year. It was nothing he could not handle but it seemed it had been able to keep him from noticing two imminent mistakes. 

The first— lingering too long and being caught in the cross hairs as that idiot new hire entered the room. For what? It didn’t matter. Ratigan knew he would have to begrudgingly take up small talk as soon as he had looked up to see who had opened the door. (He had thought it was a student, coming back with a question.) 

The second— lingering too long and being caught with this Morey fool by one of those idiots from the study abroad programs. No doubt they had seen Morey walking in here and thought they could corner him, but had found themselves with a two-for-one prize! 

End him! 

“Good afternoon.” Ratigan put on a smile, glancing from Morey to their other guest. He would feign ignorance. “I’m so sorry, I was just leaving. I’ll be out of your way soon.”

Empty Spaces {Elli & Mads}

Eventually Elli in his grief and sadness removed himself from the room Elli and Seb shared. His brother didn’t need to deal with him just staring at the walls and he thought about what he could have done over and over.

There was another half full dish of food on the nightstand but Elli didn’t want to get up and eat. His hair was still wet from the shower he forced himself to take.

“Door’s open!” Elliot called out at the knock. Easily then waiting whoever it was out.

Haunting Pasts {Mads/Elli}

Elliot didn’t always go to the Court. It was a good place don’t get him wrong and it was funny when him and Sebastian started to speak Italian and it frustrated Roscoe and DeSoto because Sicilian. But it wasn’t as much for hook ups and getting drunk as Pixies or the Deer felt.

There was a different vibe.

But that also didn’t mean he wasn’t a couple beers in already especially when a little mousy green eyes girl got on stage and he furrowed his eyebrows. Since when did she play? Hadn’t she always been a bartender?

Elliot shrugged. “Oh hey look your bffl is getting on stage. Didn’t know she was a singer?” Elliot mused just as Wendy took a seat at the piano and Rita took the main stage.

Wendy on the other hand was always filled with nerves. She always was before she preformed. It was hard to undo years and years of what performing had become and just like before sometimes she felt like she was going to be sick.

But Rita always made sure she was comfortable as she good, being more in the shadows. Slightly angled away from view and when her que came that nerves fluttered away and instead of her normal emptiness there was a reminder of just why she found music so enjoyable.

I'm taking a class with Mads Morey this semester and unfortunately all I hear when he talks is blah blah I'm sexy blah blah

June: That's so weird because that's what I would hear too if I took boring classes like...what does he even teach? Sorry to Professor Morey. Why are the hot ones always so boring, truly? I guess God is fair.

April: Yeah, I dunno if the fantasy is worth whatever he is droning on about. Good luck! Hopefully you can earn some extra credit. [wink]

May: At least you've something nice to look at while day dreaming! If you are looking to focus more, maybe look down while you're listening to him lecture? Or picture someone less appealing to the eye. Or sit behind someone tall so they block the view.
