Two years ago I welcomed this incredible group of people into the MA Exhibition Design Program at the @corcoran_gw. Today most of them are graduating!!!! My heart is so full of happiness and admiration and pride. I wish I could have been with you all more this year. I'm sorry I left you in the middle of your program. But having seen your work throughout the year and your amazing accomplishments in Thesis, I couldn't be more proud that we are now colleagues! See you at graduation this evening!!!! I've been feeling sad about the situation at the Corcoran. It crushes me to know how GW has been treating my old students, and how poorly they are handling the program I loved and cared for (2011 to 2017). But to cheer myself up I just looked through the nearly 1000 photos in the #MAEXcorcoran feed. It is like a multi-yearbook of joy and creativity and smart design and originality. GW doesn't seem to understand how valuable and unique that program is and was. But we know. Thanks to @krystalondesign for this hilarious photo (2014) that sums up my love for #MAEXcorcoran.
