PAPER SCISSORS ROCK: A Benefit Concert for JB Bangoy

Jonathan Bangoy, or JB as we fondly call him, is a father of a 2-yr old and a new born, is a Senior Copywriter in J Romero, and most recently, the Ad Industry’s representative and The Inquirer’s delegate to the Young Lion’s Competition in Cannes, France. To put a picture to the name, you can check out Adobo’s cover and issue dated April 2008. Last September 29, JB had a seizure and has since then been confined in the Manila Doctor’s Hospital. He was on respirator for two weeks and is currently still in the ICU. ICU costs an average of 30,000 a day. This does not include the cost of the respirator, medicines, doctor’s fees, therapy, etc. Since the start of his confinement, his leave credits and insurance limits have been maxed out. While his family and friends are praying for a quick recovery, the road ahead is still long and trying. On October 28, his friends will be mounting a benefit concert. It will be held in Mag:net in Bonifacio High-Street.
