What's happening in the land of CueHappiness

Here are just a few things that are going on/updates :)

1) Vacation: I will be going away shortly for about a week and a half, my queue is going to be set up to post once an hour while I'm gone so CueHappiness will still be fully functioning. If you send me any ask box, formspring, etc messages though you will have to wait until I return for a response.

- Also because I will be away I will be leaving CueHappiness cards in new places, so  perhaps you'll find one in your hometown :)

2) P.O Box: I know I've been talking for about a year about getting a P.O box and I haven't been able to afford it financially, but I will be getting one when I return from my trip. I'll be using my Christmas money and it's going to be my gift to myself. As soon as it's organized the address will be posted in the sidebar of my page and then you are free to send me mail :)

3) Wristbands are still available in the online store http://cuehappiness.storenvy.com/

We are starting to run out though, so get them while we still have them :) $3 or 2/$5

4) Tshirts : I'll be printing my first set of tshirts in January (as soon as I get the graphic from my friend who is drawing it up). There will only be 10 shirts from this set available online and whether or not more shirts are purchased will be determined after.

I will also post some pictures of the different graphics I've had done up for the shirts so you guys can determine if you're going to want one of those in the future :)

Also if anyone is interested in creating a graphic for CueHappiness, please feel free to submit them :) If you send in an image and we use it for something you will be credited and you will receive some free swag including a copy of the item :)

5) CONTEST: I will be running a contest for the month of January (details are still be finalized). There will be 2 prizes for the contest (prize packs including : a tshirt, a set of wristbands, a necklace from www.thegivingkeys.com and possibly a few other little things).

I haven't decided 100% what exactly the contest will entail and am open to any and all suggestions from you folks :)

I'm currently thinking about some sort of creative submission regarding how you feel about CueHappiness. I receive so many lovely messages from people on a daily basis that I thought it wouldn't be too difficult for people to create contest entries. You can use the medium of your choice for the entry, so you can write, draw, sing, make a video, etc (pretty much anything you can think of).

If you guys come up with any other contest ideas please send them my way ! :)

If you are interested in getting a holiday mail-out all addresses need to be submitted by December 10th (this is the latest date that will make it overseas for Christmas according to the Canada Post)

Holiday Mail-out : Currently putting together a CueHappiness mail-out for the holidays, if you want to be included please have your address submitted by December 10 (according to Canada Post that’s the last day mail is guarenteed to make it overseas by Christmas :] ) More information on the holiday mail-out can be found here : http://cuehappiness.tumblr.com/post/13214193400/mail-out-for-the-holidays

2. Holiday Contest : I will be running a contest to win 1 of 2 CueHappiness prize packages from now until mid-December (currently it will end December 15, but depending on circumstances it may be extended). The contests asks you to “re-write” the lyrics to the 12 Days of Christmas , the new lyrics do not have to be holiday oriented but should portray positivity, kindness, happiness, etc.

The original 12 days of Christmas lyrics are meant as more of a guide in this contest, be as creative as you can and use your talents to your advantage! I can’t wait to see what people come up with :)

3. Holiday Happiness: I’m also working on some local holiday happiness stuff for the project. Last year I left some Christmas cards with CueHappiness cards and Tim Hortons gift cards around my hometown for random people to enjoy. I’m hoping to come up with something else this year but could use some help. If you have any ideas to help spread holiday happiness let me know!

Mail-out for the holidays :)

Alright as of this afternoon ALL addresses and mail-outs will be sent. I really apologize to anyone who got caught up in the delay of me being broke but hopefully you will have your cards soon!

I’m planning to send another mail-out in time for Christmas (should be in the mail by December 10th to make sure it makes it to everyone). So anyone who is interested in either getting cards for themselves or a friend please submit your addresses by December 10th :)

- If you'd like to take cards on a vacation to distribute, take them away to school in the fall to leave out, have some for an event please let me know. I'd be more than willing to provide cards for these purposes, if you need a certain amount please make me aware of that.

Organizing mail?

So I had a lovely anon (http://cuehappiness.tumblr.com/post/8074799481/hello-how-do-we-know-if-you-got-our-addresses-and) ask me some questions about my mail-out.

Such as :

- how do when know if you received our addresses?

- how long does it take for mail to arrive?

So I'm trying to come up with some sort of way to organize this, all I can really think of is like an email list. If you were to include your email address with your address I could send out an email when I received your address and then another email when mail was sent.

I'm not sure whether people would be interested in that or not?
