Description
Cartoon depicting a popular scene of majos and majas dancing seguidillas, a folk dance from the region of New Castile and Madrid , less lively than the famous fandango. The view of the banks of the Manzanares River accurately reflects, in the foreground, the area of the Pontones Bridge, and according to Goya, "in the distance, a bit of Madrid can be seen near San Francisco."
