Cleaning and organizing in my craft studio today and started playing with some yarn. I was given the gold sparkly yarn recently and knew I’d pair it with another yarn so tried it with the white. I liked it but felt rather blah about so thought I’d try it with each of the other shades I was considering to see which one I liked best. Once I completed one pattern repeat in each color, I planned to rip it all out and just use the combo I felt was prettiest. I went from lighter to darker and it turns out I like them all, in this order! So I’m going to keep going until I run out of gold and have myself a new scarf. #makenine2019 summary. This was some of my plans for 2019, I made some, didn’t make others and made lots of other things that were not in this plan, but I’m constantly making new plans and coming up with new ideas. I made a dress from scuba fabric, but in green floral ✔️ I have part made the green embroidered dress ✖️ I knitted a fair isle cardigan ✔️ I knitted a bobble hat ✔️ I made an embroidery hoop necklace ✔️ I didn’t make a grey skirt, not sure if it’s something I want ✖️ I made a navy floral dress ✔️ I have bought the wool, but have yet to make a pink cardigan.
