guys what is HAPPENING in txf s4ep5 'The field where I died'. Like... is this shit canon? did mulder really have a past life where he was a jewish polish woman in the holocaust and his sister was his son? and SCULLY was his DAD? and the cancer man is the gestapo? and the random one-off woman from the episode is his soulmate and they have found each other and been taken away from each other in multiple lifetimes, including one where he is a confederate soldier (i think)??? and in tht life scully is his dead sarge... why is she always dead...
like and the show is just being deadass... just introducing this concept in a random episode that mulder and scully have known each other in every lifetime but she for some reason is always dead in hs memory and he is destined for this random woman... this is such a craxy thing for them to just drop. now i have to think of him as fox mulder, holocaust victim and civil war veteran
and then they do that romantical ass thing where he asks if they had known thye were friends in every lifetime would things be different and she says she wouldnt change a thing... that's real sweet guys but i think there is just too much information happening right now for me to enjoy it.
and then mulder's soulmate dies in a cult massacre clutching the pictures of her and mulder's past lives. like wtf... we are just supposed to move on to the next episode. this feels like something that should carry extreme significance. he just met his soulmate and she was torn away from him immediately after. but i dont think its going to come up again
