Faulty Security Measures
The store's new security measures were effective... too effective, actually. They were still working out the bugs when they deployed it. Sometimes it went off when someone got too close to the exit.
Sarah had come to the store looking for something to surprise her girlfriend with... something sexy.
She picked an expensive set- $700. There was no way she could afford it, but she wanted to see what she would look like if she danced for her girlfriend in it.
Unfortunately for Sarah, the store's floorplan placed the dressing room right next to the exit. Sarah's dancing triggered the security measures, and in seconds, she was a mannequin modeling the expensive lingerie set. She'd stay that way until she had spent enough hours as a mannequin to pay off the set she "stole..." at minimum wage.
