Iiiiii am making an effort to be nice to myself and give myself nice things that help my day be a little brighter etc etc. anyways the easiest thing of the multiple things im interested in to get into is nailpolish so i bought a set from Holo Taco 😗 mom is joining me so I got a shade for her and a shade for me that also just compliment each other 👍 someone tell me why you need so many little things to paint your nails. nail polish aside i have a cuticle oil pen, a cuticle shaper, had to buy acetone bc mom's expired in 2023 lol, a little wedge brush to dip in the acetone........ nail polish thinner (which im waiting for for one of my polishes i was gonna skip it initially but Wild Child is too thick)

ANYWAYS im really happy with how my (admittedly botched) first attempt worked and i havent had any problems with chipping or anything yet which is revolutionary to me. it was never this easy as a kid and this was still hard. quality 👍 its super shiny

hiiii. coming online to let all of you know i'm good, i've figured things out with logan, and we've figured out how our relationship will work moving forwards. Thank you everyone who reached out to me and read my vent posts, i really needed it and everything should be more.. settled now.

so, logan and i will still be 'exclusive' (my biggest hangup is getting replaced. he isnt planning on that) to each other, but more like he's "my person" and i'm "his person", rather than romantic partners. probably not going to end up living together, but he's open to visits or even living in the same area so we can still hang out and stuff.

no forever ring (but we may get friendship rings... later), yes i get the valentine's bear, maybe no ion? idk. the labrador vanguard deck is his as a promise that he'll visit here sometime, so he gets to bring her with him then.

Not a whole lot has actually changed between us because i've also finally admitted im not really looking for a physically intimate relationship (besides normal hugs and cuddling, which. well. whatever) so something something love loses (i was willing to try to get past my aversion to physical intimacy but only for him.and now i dont have to lol). love was always a choice for me anyways, not a feeling. and i still love him and i can still love him, but its more accurately defined now as non-romantic i guess. i still get to talk to him and treat them as my #1 priority, and he also wants that with me which is what we both ended up scared of losing lol. i cant find anyone else that'll understand me as well as he does. my bosom friend... as anne of green gables calls it

this week had to happen. dreams had to pop. i have to figure out my future now as i dont have an easy way out anymore and i have to really look at things i've set aside on an empty promise of the future. and he does too. what'll happen with that idk but i guess i'll take it as it comes?

im good on self harm and suicidal thoughts now, though if these brothers of mine dont get a job soon.....

disaster happened... this is the discord message i sent logan (edited slightly) bc i dont want to write it again

accidentally spilled miralax infused juice all over my drawer of stuff..... where all my important electronics are.

switch is. boot looping when picked up and i cant get it to stop bc its a goddamn nintendo product. entire area behind the little stand was soaked and i think its all soaked on the inside

3ds case is wet and deteriorating... games inside and 3ds itself is probably fine

new xbox controller i splurged $100 on to treat myself with custom colors that i dont think has a warranty literally was dripping juice from inside and i dont have any way to open it ams the battery terminal was soaked and i wiped it out and took the batteries out

ps4 controller is in a similar state but i cant take the batteries out but it has broken bluetooth anyways

laptop got a bit of the splash but is fine. lmao

many cards from logan and a notebook i had are toast. my necklace from logan has the outside soaked but the necklace is fine i think. the ion charms (literally can't replace them) in there are fine thank god.

but. $300+ of electronics that arent 'easily' replaced are Not In Good Condition

and on top of that all of it is going to dry tacky and gross and i cant clean the insides without breakinf anything and i was crying the whole time i was cleaning up and throwinf away things i feel so stupid i knew rhis was going to happen

Currently Reading: Thriller Trainee by Wang Ya (author who also wrote Working Records in a Weird World which i reviewed last year). The more I reread this the more I realize these two are the same type of freaks Jiang Luo and Chi You are. Close enough welcome back 🎉

Current Obsession: I'm still on an Ar Tonelico kick even if I'm not showing it outwardly. I guess you could also just say my own OC universe tbh.

anyways nearest reputable repair place lists switches as a $160 flat repair cost before even getting into replacing parts or whatever (and many places dont fix water damage) so its just better to like. buy a new one. except they're like $300-400 even refurbished. i didnt have an oled version or anything and i dont need one really so its kind of frusting that the original console is so expensive when the switch 2 is already out and there are the switch lite versions as well AND THE ORIGINAL CONSOLE IS ALMOST 10 YEARS OLD

btw are the switch lite versions ok.... they do run like $100 cheaper and i dont play anything other than tomodachi and acnh on it. and atelier games but those are ports anyways
