I know that this is probably too early for many of you guys but I just need to say this: black writers are leaving. I know that in my space of footballers & F1 but in other spaces/fandoms too. Now before we start and say “support black writers”, please understand the importance of engagement. I mean proper engagement; for instance if you are in the taglist, you should comment and reblog or send in a DM. Simple as that. And if you are not on the taglist and enjoy reading the story, you should do the same or leave a nice anon ask if you’re too scared to do so publicly. Either way, that one comment or reblog or nice ask or DM will help to keep your favorite writer on here and feel the motivation needed to continue.

We have gotten so bad at that (myself included). I know peoples lives are busy but this is what is needed to keep black writers on here.

There’s been too many amazing people leaving and they’re just going to keep leaving until we do something.

Also, stop sending these people hate for no reason. Some of you are getting to be too entitled and do not understand personal boundaries. We have lives too.
