"Wait." She held her finger up towards the person in front of her. Mari was taken back from what she just heard from them. "What do you mean?"
What was going on?
"What do you mean?" She asked again before realizing that she was on the phone as the person on the other end started to answer. Turning her attention back to the person she was on the phone with, "I'm going to have to call you back. Sorry." She was quick to press end call. She felt bad since she had called them first but she needed to know what was going on.
"What did you mean by that?" Her focus again on the person.

"I didn't know the owner of Oasis had stuff to burn." Mari teased, she didn't know him personally, but she knew who he was. She had already burned her stuff and had wandered off for the night. "I guess it makes sense since it is your event."

"Celeste, you don't even know" Mariana had to let her know, "it was not okay. Who does that? Someone could've gotten hurt and by someone, I mean me. People need to have more spatial awareness." She had finished telling her about the woman she had to shoulder check for not making room on the sidewalk for her. "I'd do it again." She said and then took the shot that was in front of her. "All I'm saying is shoulder check these bitches because they don't care so why should we?"

Mariana eyed Reggie as she watched him from across the table. Her hand around her strawberry banana smoothie. She had been in shock since the night before. She had called into the station requesting City Girls as one should at midnight and he ignored her. So, she had a bone to pick which is why she invited him out for a treat.
"Why did you ignore me last night?" She sat straight up. "One moment we're laughing and keke'ing when I was a guest host, and the next you're ignoring me." She frowned and took a sip. "That's literally so rude." She stated.
"What is wrong with you?" She finally asks. She had to know if it was a mistake because she understood if he got flooded with requests or what if he secretly hated her? That would be sabotage.

Mariana had no choice in the movie she was about to watch. She didn't even know what she was watching either. She had been walking alongside the friend who invited before looking down at her phone to reply to a text when the two stopped walking.
Without looking she began to speak, "Do you know why ther-" Her voice cut off when she made eye contact with who she thought was her friend that had been next to her. It wasn't a shock. She heard the rumbles of his move even if he had become a ghost in the eyes of Hollywood. People still talked. Her reaction was slow as she shook her head, quickly looking away to break the eye contact. She didn't know how to face what she had done to someone she did care about. Right now, she had no choice either.
"Sorry, I thought my friend was right here, but she's not. And..." She hesitated for a moment, this was fucking awkward. Clearing her throat, she smiled softly, "How have you been?" She uttered out. @julianxpark
