Guys. you h a v e to research Marin Preda. tldr one of those writer guys who had to face an oppressive regime except its deeper than that i promise. He wrote a massive novel about a family adapting to post-ww2 chaos feat. the dilemma of a father who refused to change as well as another novel called (ironically) 'Most Beloved Man On Earth'. Thats all im saying if that doesn't catch your attention idk what will. he also may or may not have gotten subtly killed by the communist regime for his former novel
