Below you will find the ‘response’ from the admin at Gleerp-2021 about the post that I made about them, as well as my response. Their comments can be found in the replies to my pinned post at the top of my blog, so I figured going to effort of posting screenshots was unneeded as they’re not the easiest to read.
gleerp-2021:
Excuse me, Naya’s father himself said it was totally fine to use naya as face claim. Cory’s mom said it was okay to use Cory as a face claim. And using Mark as a face claim does not mean we support what he did, but we do love the character. We can hate the actor for being a huge dick but we can also love his character. Character is one thing. Actor/actress is another. Please separate these two things.
Also, erasing sexuality? Come on, no one complained about changing straight characters sexuality and making them Pan, or bi, or gay. But people that aren’t even in the roleplay are complaining about changing a lesbian characters sexuality and making her BISEXUAL? This is hypocrisy
Also, even though you said you don’t mean to hate or whatever on the accounts tagged, I don’t really feel comfortable with this post, can you please at least remove my tag from there?
LOLOLOLOL PLEASE SHOW ME THE RECIPTS BECAUSE I FIND THAT HARD TO BELIEVE!
Using Mark as a faceclaim is DISGUSTING, period, full stop. There are a TON of alternate faceclaims that you could use if it’s truly the character that you love so much. Why do you have to use those faces? Why not do what other groups are doing and finding new faceclaims but keeping the characters you all love so much?
No one complained? What about the anon I got that directed me toward your group? Sure sounded like they were disgusted by it. What’s the point of it? I personally am not for the changing of any character’s canon sexuality straight, or otherwise. Sexuality is not all of who we are, but it is a part of it, and changing that is changing a character that, as you stated, you loved so much as they were. Especially in a show like Glee that already had representation of minority groups.
You know what, no, I will not. I’m not really comfortable with the faceclaims that you’re using for your group, so when you change those, I’ll take you off the list fair and square. It says right there in the disclaimer that groups will be removed from the list once they’ve changed or have removed the offensive material that had them put there.

Overall Thoughts: I fucking love this episode. It’s hilarious, and works incredibly to show off Glee’s ensemble nature. Kurt and Blaine both get big storylines, there’s all these random flashbacks, and just… I don’t even know. This is just straight up a fun episode, and I absolutely love it.
