Markus Floats is Montréal-based artist and musician/composer Markus Lake. Third Album is Lake’s most cohesive and succinct work as well as his first with the mighty Constellation record label. The sound here is difficult to categorize but Lake has a “background in Jazz Performance and Electroacoustic Studies” which honestly is about as good as you are going to get in trying to describe his sound. Third Album is an album full of exploration and it’s fascinating to witness an artist so confident in the journey.
