Poetry Open Mic for September (part 1)
Monday, September 20th was once again Open Mic Poetry Night at Arts Garage in Delray Beach, Florida, entertainingly hosted by Marnino Toussaint (https://www.facebook.com/MarninoT/), with a wide variety of performers and styles.
Every month there are some regulars and a few surprises. Last night we had everything from Vaudeville to Spoken Word to Sung Lyrics to Cowboy Poetry.
I contributed "Novice," "Nine Ways of Responding to a Robocall," and debuted "Eventually, After the Fire Burns."
