#i know a lot of people are expressing hesitance over acor which is fair given pb’s track record and what they said on the blog post #the historical figures they decided to make LIs were terrible people etc #but i think that’s.....kind of the point?#pb said themselves in the post that it’ll be hard to distinguish between who are our friends allies and enemies #the mc herself will probably be morally ambiguous as hell so it makes sense that her LIs would be as well #am i going to still cringe at the inevitable tidal wave of posts calling these murderers ‘uwu my babies’? yeah #and it all depends on how pb actually handles these characters #the mc’s goal will be revenge against the people who murdered her family it’s not a reach to expect for her to think lowly of murderers #if pb keeps their promised about this book then i don’t think the li arcs will follow the typical structure where we choose one and end up #marrying them #the mc is a courtesan she’ll probably end up romancing some characters who we’ll never meet again #some lis might die on the way or turn out to be terrible people so we leave them #that’d be an interesting concept i think #on that note i have a uhh bad feeling the mc will have a 3:1 m:f li ratio again #we have marc anthony and the other dude as comfirmed lis and i’m sure the gladiator on the cover will be one as well #so....hm #stfu nisa #a courtesan of rome
