Captain Marvel Prompt, GO!
The JL are having trouble with some magic users causing issues, so they call some magic users including Captain Marvel to deal with it. They end up having a bit of troubel so Cap calls in the best person to help. His brother obviously.
The JL had no idea he worked with other people and have no clue what their relationship is, but they're welcoming. Meanwhile Freddy is having the time of his life finally getting to know the JL and getting to work with them. This is his first anything with them and first imprssions matter.
Flash forwards, they manage to find their base. Its some casino like thing that anyone is invited to. They are about to go in when they are to that the buliding has some sort of power nullifier. So while it dosent take away their powers completly, they can't deppend on them and the supers are basically regular people with a very small boost that is barely noticable.
No problem right? They can still fight just fine with out them. And its not like they are taking their wepons away. It will be fine.
Billy: *Looks at his flying brother*...
Freddy: *Staring at his legs in despair*...
B/F: Fuck-
Cue Billy and Freddy derailing the mission for 30 mins as they break into a near by Walmart looking for anything and everything that can work as a crutch for Freddy while they yell at eachother, the universe, and Walmart for not having easy accese aids for disabeld people. All of this happening by a very confused JL that just stand awkwardly at the side not really understanding whats happening.
So much for first impressions
They get it eventually and help him find a par that fit. The mission is a succses and Billy and Freddy manage to stop the magic thing. Freddy is super embarrases about how his first mission went, the JL are impressed with his inteligence and ability to hold his own, and Batman is making a new protical for any and every dissability that their members could have, be it visibal or not.
(Billy is just super proud of his brother, and is still begging for his forgivness for breaking his crutches by using them as a wepon again)
Mitosis
(set in an AU where Mary and Freddy are both small in their champion form, and Billy doesn't work for Whiz yet.)
Almost everyone knew the marvels. The magical sunny trio, who always seemed joined at the hip. Where one went, the other two were never too far behind.
Of course, with Captain Marvel being the oldest and looking very similar to the other two (Black hair, blue eyes, you get the idea) everyone thought the same thing; “Cap is the father of Mary Marvel and Captain Marvel Jr. Come on, it's even in the name!”
No one, from the public or the superhero community ever brought it up with them, because 'Well, it's obvious!'
..And then the Captain told them they were completely wrong.

Superman, while in a casual conversation with the other leaguers, refers to Marvel Jr. As Captain Marvel's son.
Cap, who happened to overhear: “Son? Jr is my older brother.”
[Shocked pause]
GA, gobsmacked: “Why is he called Jr then?”
Cap, a little taken aback by the apparent shock this was to the others: “Well, to be honest, when Jr was coming up with a name, i suggested Jr, because he was smaller than me, and the name stuck.”
GA, still blue screening the fact that Jr was not Cap's son: “Wow.”
GL, waving his hands frantically to accentuate his point: “Are we just gonna pass over the fact Cap just said Jr was older than him?”
Plastic man, jokingly: “Next he's gonna tell us Mary Marvel isn't his daughter either.”
[Cap shoots Plas a look, and before he can speak up, Plastic man continues, his joking tone nowhere to be seen, now in it's place, an almost disbelieving one.]
Plastic man, incredulous: “Oh my God, you are.”
Cap, nodding in agreement: “She's my twin.
[Que various noises of surprise all around the table.]

After a few days of Marvel trying to clear up the misunderstanding, it was quite clear a lot of the leaguers simply didn't believe him. Either chalking it up to magic shenanigans or just really doubting he could be younger than Freddy, even though it was so apparent he 'wasn't.'
So, they decided to pull a prank.
With the help of a spell, he aged his Champion form down to the age of his siblings, and dressed up as Mary.
They couldn't wait to see their faces when they saw not one, but two 'Mary Marvels' flying around the watchtower.
After all, they were twins. And what better way to prove it than the classic twin switch-up?

Flash, rubbing his eyes before looking again: “I'm not seeing things, am i? Please tell me i've not gone crazy.”
WW, shaking her head: “No. You are seeing things correctly. There's two of our friend present.”
Flash, now a bit worried: “Has Mary been cloned, or is being followed by a doppelganger?”
WW, tilting her head a bit, trying to remember something: “Not that i recall. Maybe you could ask her about it? She doesn't seem concerned about the 'clone'.”
Flash, slapping his forehead in a 'why didn't i do that earlier?' way: “Good idea.”
[Flash goes over to the two Marys (Maries?). When he arrives, one of them beams.]
Billy: “Hi, Flash! How are you doing?”
Flash: “Good! Well, i've been meaning to ask you.. uh, something.”
Mary, grinning: “Well, go ahead.”
Flash, a bit too bluntly: “Why are there two of you?”
Billy, with the most cheerful voice ever: “Mitosis!”
Flash: “Mitosis?!”
Mary, saying this as if it was the most obvious thing: “Why do you think there's only one big Marvel, and the rest of us are small? We separated from the captain recently.”
Billy, holding in a laugh: “But keep it secret, okay? Me and the others trust you to never tell anyone our secret.”
Flash, who is like 'WTF did i just hear': “Uhh.. sure. I won't tell anyone.”
[The two proceed to tell everyone the supposed 'Secret.' Only years later the League would find out it was a prank, when Billy and Mary showed them their civillian forms. They still use the 'Mitosis' as a inside joke when a new member joins the League.]
billy,mary and freddy fall asleep powered up bc *insert magical reason*, and they wake up and go out and oh okay ppl have screens w them dope, wym Elvis died, wym MARILYN MONROE DIED? oops they fell asleep like for 40 years and now they are doing like their hero duties and the JL is like "okay sus" and go and investigate and "oh okay they're chill" and invite them to join but only marvel accepts so he's available for like global things Mary is in for the city things and jr has to deal w the magical reason they fell asleep and so so
an excuse to have these three dancing swing and shit at the watchtower after being invited 4 capts welcome party and the rest of the league is like 🧍

I have many many problems with the Prime Earth version of Billy Batson. And I’m gonna rant about them cause I can.
Firstly the lack of Fawcett City. That was so fun. A city frozen in time. And a nod back to Billy’s old publisher. Literally zero reason to change that.
Next Billy’s parents. C.C. and Marilyn didn’t abandon their son. What a stupid addition to their characters.
Also Mary why would they take Mary away from Billy as his twin? What’s the point in that.
Because next Black Adam makes less sense. Billy’s connection with Black Adam came from the fact that Theo Adam was a family friend. Billy and Mary called him Uncle. He turned and killed C.C. and Marylin. He took Mary away and Theo’s sister Sarah placed Mary with the Bromfields.
And then Billy is placed with his Uncle Ebenezer who steals all his money and yeets Billy onto the streets.
I don’t mind Billy being with the Vasquez’s at all. I understand that the whole kid living on the street things doesn’t work for a lot of people.
But they could have had you know Billy living on the street right. Okay and then Prime Earth Mary ran away from her home which she could still run from the Bromfields and end up with Victor and Rosa. Who would have already had Eugene, Pedro, and Darla.
Okay so then Billy and Mary find each other and she gets the powers first. They always were connected being twins and all. Then Freddy Freeman gets hurt and he gets his powers third just like always. But Freddy’s grandpa dies and he’s an orphan too. So Mary talks to Victor and Rosa and they take both boys in at the same time. And then Billy has a lot more family. Or you know something like this.
It would have been so easy to merge the backstories without taking away from Billy’s already existing super rich history.
